Great price, but IMHO you're best to consider the Ultra for a few bucks more due to the upholstery being susceptible to interior heat in summmer: http://www.toysrus.com.au/the-first-years-pathway-ultra-fold…

Maybe add this to the post OP as an alternative for hot climates…

    • The ultra looks much cheaper and hotter too! Not sure its a better option.

Why would fabric look hotter than vinyl FFS, use your head.

    • The ultra is unavailable anyway.

      • Was showing stock when I looked earlier…I've seen both side by side, I know I'd rather be getting into a fabric seat on a hot day than a vinyl-ish one, just imagine how uncomfortable it is for little kids.

For $99 you can get the Hipod Boston booster seat from Target. It is highly rated on the Child Car Seats website in terms of safety.

The only catch is you're going to have to call a few Target's to see if they have stock as they sell out so quickly. I managed to get one last week from Target Parramatta NSW (Westfield) where at the time they only had 2 left after I bought one.

    • looks like a better deal, also this looks ok also http://www.supercheapauto.com.au/Product/Babylove-Ezy-Move-B…

    • Item has been discontinued at Target, website suggested low stock at Caroline Springs and South Morang here in Vic but when i rang there was none.

interestingly there is a newer version at target with a different product code - Hipod Boston Pro Booster Seat with stock available. I wonder if it still has the safety rating of it's predecessor?

It's the same product. I called Target to confirm. Not sure why they created a new listing.

      • Not sure about that, when I spoke to a few Targets (when I was calling around stores) they said that the stock for the Hipod Boston comes throughout the year, but they keep selling out fast. I dont know for certain if it has been discontinued and replaced with a newer version or not though, but overall I would look at the Child Car Seats website for higher ranked seats to ensure you're getting a seat thats going to actually protect your child, regardless of how cheap or expensive it is.

I've posted an ad in the giveaway section for my sons carseat. It's almost 9 years old, looks new and has never been in a crash. Located in West End, Brisbane.
