was waiting for for someone to post this. not a great deal, about 10 bux cheaper than MSY after postage…

    would rather get it locally.

    BRING ON THE 2TB DRIVES!!!!!

  • +2

    The power supplies!
It seems they have crap bargains on fridays so they can last all weekend.

  • Good deal but not a bargain in that context.

  • I bought this exact ram kit three weeks ago at MSY for $121. This is cheaper, but no that much cheaper.

    • +1

The Patriot Signature RAM with better heat dissipation is only a few dollars more.

te-he, looks like people are starting to get fussy after the great bargains you've had in the past!

good price, (better than anyone else even with shipping) but you can do better! :D

    2TB WD!!! PLEASE!!!

    let the whining begin.

    • thanks for the negs whiners

      • +1

Wow, what's with all the haters?

It's not like there's much margin on RAM anyway, so this is the best value so far.

  • +5

Wow - how can ANYONE say this isn't a deal. I have my pick of buying PC parts at cost price and even I'm giving this a positive. Good deal but under cost. ???

    • just based on some of the other deals they have been doing, this one is good, but no where near as good.

      • +2

By that reasoning, a store that once sold an item for 50% off should not be given consideration for selling something for 25% off?

I agree with mgexiled and warcom - this is a deal, plain and simple - and belongs on OzBargain. I think PricesEngine is doing a great job and I think many agree given that their bargains have made the main page virtually every week day since they started.

And how is a good deal not a bargain? (not directed at wisc but comment above)

  • Any chance you can do SSDs again (limit 1 or 2), Winnie?

    • +3

      It's Minnie~~

Still waiting from my sales team.

    • Winnie? lol

      • +1

        Lol Pigbearman

    • I would be interested in this also. Missed out last time. :(

    • also missed out and interested!

Everyone - Although you may not have the exact deal / item posted on here that you wanted, please stop sounding so ungrateful about these deals that are being provided for us. Yes suppliers definitely benefit from what is posted here, but so do we - so let's not sit there and constantly whinge about the fact you didn't get exactly what you wanted.

I know if I was ever posting the deals I'd never want to post again given how the feedback comes across. Keep up the same tone and I imagine you'd probably drive more bargains away from OzBargain rather than get what you want.

    • +2

      well put

    • -1

then we only get left with the good bargains that ARE actually bargains :D

believe me, its a two way street, posting on ozbargains gets vendors a huge amount of revenue and exposure.

      • +1

What part of this is not a bargain? You are saving approx. 10% on computer parts that have razor thin margins to begin with.

Last I checked this was not posted by PE itself but by site users - PE has stated they prefer not to post to let site users get the credit. It's OzBargain members that are sharing these deals and driving business to the site because they think it's a BARGAIN

  • well I would be very happy to spare 10 bucks.

  • +1

saving me 10 bucks +1 from me

  • +2

money saved is money saved… no matter how much money it is. if it beats the competition its a good deal in my eyes…

    • +1

meh, if you ride them harder they give you better deals….
      here is the perfect example!
      http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/28431

"We are talk about Gigabyte. Our Product manager has change the price to $419 now.

      Limited stock ONLY."

i want a vendor that works for my money and to get the best deal possible, thats why i come here.

i don't lap up the "stuff" they feed me, the consumer has the power here, so stop giving it to the vendors!
they are doing an good job, but lets push them to do the best job!

      • -1

there's a line though that gets crossed here where people whinge and complain and abuse vendors far too much.

      • +1

Again, well put. I also lucky I managed to grab that HD5870 deal, which is actually a real bargain IMHO

You guys are missing the point. If you just want to save a few bucks then just look up shopbot for the cheapest store. This site is not about saving a few bux. This is Ozbargain!. This is a good deal but I wouldn't call it a bargain put it that way.

It was really interesting that PriceEngine (and also perhaps 9289) are the only online store that managed to get so many feedbacks (either positive or negative) each time they post a deal at Ozbargain. Looking from the marketing point of view, I think they are really succeed in generating a significant public awareness towards their product offerings. Kudos for them…

    • +1

logitechshop as well, bargaincrypt really gets replies

  • These dimms don't have any heatspreaders, just a bit concerned about heat.

    • Would be perfectly fine unless u overclock em

  • Can I actually use this on a Macbook pro 2010 model?? :O :O

    • No. The current macbook pros use 204 pin DDR3 so-dimms. The ones for sale here are 240 pin DDR3 dimms.

      • Yeah I did my research and noticed that. Thanks :)

      • Can I get this for my iMac 27" or is it the same story? You know of any good deals going for 4GB RAM that does work with my setup?

  • We need some 4GB DDR2 DDR3 SINGLE STICKS for SALE in Both Notebook and Desktop formats.. Now that would be nice.

  • Just bought this today… Hope they arrive soon. :)

    • Looks like priceengines have closed. I wonder if anyone will get their orders?

      • That's okay, I've received mine.
If you ordered something, you'll get it too.
They're just not selling anything new atm.
