  • WORKED for me.. :)

Thanks. Check the last picture here http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Seagate-Expansion-2TB-Portable-Ha…
It even shows the pencil :)

  • +2

Appears for me in "Vouchers*" section in "My eBay: Summary"

    • Why are the vouchers hidden there. I wonder if I missed any previous vouchers

  • wow works out good for the HD paid $100 or so not long ago

  • Will the internal drive fit inside a PS4?

    • +2

Yes it will, did it just the other day.

      • Just wondering if this is the drive found within the enclosure "Seagate ST2000LM007 2TB 2.5" 7mm SATA3 Mobile Hard Drive"

I have purchased it on the off chance it is a regular sata drive in the enclosure as the M9T/ST2000LM007 are $160 each (50% off with a free enclosure if so! :P)

        • The drive in mine was a Seagate, can't remember the exact model number though. I also have a couple of the older 2Tb drives, (the Seagate Backup plus slim, in black, red, blue colours, etc), they all had the Samsung Spinpoint M9T drive in them.

Yes, I know it's crazy, the drive with the enclosure is cheaper that buying just the plain drive.

Great price I paid ~$93 last week for one from office works which I used to upgrade my PS4. The only problem I had was the young bloke forgetting his psn password so he has lost all his achievements and PlayStation plus access🙄

    • +2

Retrieve lost password via PSN website?

    • +1

there has to be a way you are able to retrieve it , the website made it pretty easy for me to reset mine when i forgot it. give that a try

      • +3

I have tried to reset it and have also phoned them but he has forgotten the email address he used. Bloody passwords😀

        • Write down your passwords..now wait for the reaction…..

  • What's a pencil?

    • +1

Ah…that's the Apple Pencil w/o the apple!

    • +2

      What's a pencil?

A pencil is a writing implement.

  • +1

Got one but code wouldn't work.. Thought I'de go to next step and use it there but there wasn't a next step. Emailed for either full refund or refund the difference.. Doh!

    • +1

It has to be over $100, you needed to add the pencil to bump it over $100.

      • Ahhhh..

  • looks like its all gone

    • had to go the good guys route all good thanks OP!

  • gone ….. had it I cart and by the time I got the pencil they were gone ….. I managed to get the 3TB last time for $115, but the 2TB ate slimmer and can but put into laptops, 3TB is toooo fat.

    • Get it from the good guys :), I have updated the post to accomodate for the sell out @ officeworks.

  • Yep, looks like all gone, you should be able to use this link for an alternative, but there's postage added (or free C&C)

  • +1

Doesn't work for me. I did everything exactly was telling. Order over 100 bucks, payment via PayPal and the code see is incorrect. Just some people can get or I'm doing something wrong?

    • +2

Do you have the voucher? May not work for everyone.

    • +2

      It's a targeted deal.

      • +1

        OP said "perfect for anyone"

  • For anyone who is still buying the Hard Drive, read the updated post and add the cable instead. This will make it $80.00 pickup at the good guys :)

  • I went with good guys and the $4.95 8GB USB stick …… at least I can use the USB stick ….. eve if it is USB2……..my 8 year old can use it to move movies between his friends houses as even USB2 is faster then One Drive or Dropbox for kids sharing stuff……holds 4 hours of Lego Nexoknights, or Ninjago.

    • +1

      Movies to promote Lego characters

Ahh Lego on floor at night time - the second worse pain I have felt.

First - I am male and once owned a older style bike.

  • Thanks!

  • How are you getting free delivery on the TGG stuff?

    • My bad, updated the title for pick-up only at that price.

  • Thanks OP got one.

  • Thanks, This is a great deal. Was looking at getting a new HDD just the other day. Officeworks would've been a little closer to my house but still all good with the good guys.

  • Oh and I had a similar voucher just about a month or so ago - can't remember the details but I bought a set of brake pads with it. eBay must be making an absolute killing to warrant such generous deals.

    • 10% for most sellers, a little less for power sellers.

      • 7% for large stores

  • Didn't work for me :(

  • Any good SSDs on offer?

    • +1

You can get a Crucial 275GB SSD for $89 Delivered Here

  • I bought it for $80 by adding the $1 colouring pen - http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/322255184713
Saved me the 15 cents and got more than 1 pencil lol

  • I thought u mean apple pencil…

  • +1

    Not working, it's very targeted!

  • Worked for me Thanks.

  • Thanks OP. Perfect timing. I was planning to get the 2TB HDD from OW for $99 later today. Got it from GoodGuys (added this http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/121995932647 to make it go over $100). Happy chappy :-)

  • -1

    What's with the pencil?

    • +1

The pencil was the cheapest option I could find at the time to get it over the $100 threshold, you can substitute it with anything as long as it's over $100 and you are part of the targeted offer.

  • Looks like it's out of stock :(

    • Thanks for the update, I'll revert to the Good Guys deal again for the same price.

    • Looks like they added more…

      • +1

Haha I should just give up updating..Guessing they just add a certain amount to ensure there isn't any over-sales.

  • Just about to confirm checkout at Officeworks and it ran out of stock just as I clicked it.

No drama though, got it click/collect from Good Guys with a $1 Boost Mobile SIM.

    Thanks.

    • Just went to pick up my order from TGG Noarlunga SA. They gave me a 1TB, so I said I ordered a 2TB, they said they didn't have any and aren't getting any more in and asked me to keep the 1TB or get a refund which will take days to process. They also said they can't allow me to get one from another nearby store.

So there goes my $20 voucher for nothing. Sick.

3rd time in 12 months TGG have screwed me over in some way. Don't know why I keep going back.

  • If Officeworks stock runs out, just refresh the page a few times - I had "Last One" marked on my cart, then lost it while I was looking for bluetack in the OW store. Tried a few more times and the drive was back in stock from Officeworks. I added it to my cart again, then went to eBay via Cashrewards and all went through smoothly.

  • Worked for my. Thank you!

  • 0 available / 317 sold

    • Same for me. Show's over it seems.

    • Changed to the good guys deal as it looks like officeworks is sold out completely now, thank you for advising.

  • How much is the Warranty of this HD ??? Seagate website says 1 year. But Officeworks has written 3 years in their product description??

    • Australian Consumer Law (ACL). I reckon HDD should at least last 3 years.

Just noticed that the WD My Passport Ultra at OW Ebay is $126 - is this a good hard drive after the discount of $20.00 to $106.00.

    • its just a normal drive inside i take it ?

  • +9

Guy at the Officeworks was like. "hey why are people buying the same pencil." :D

  • -1

Nice! I needed a new HD for the expanding porn collection.

  • Thanks OP, just in time to replace my ps4 hd

  • +1

For everyone who is trying to bump up your total to $100, bear in mind that you do not need to use items from the same seller. you just need to add all the items to your cart then ensure the payment is $100 or above AUD (all items sold in AUD currency). Ebay allows up to 10 items in your cart for this promo.

Ex. You can throw one of these in:
    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/9H-Tempered-Glass-Screen-Protecto…

    or

    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/2X-Front-Back-Silver-Glitter-Scre…

    etc etc.

When ready to pay, key in the code at the botom of the page and verify the price drops before finalizing the payment.

  • Not work for me :( the code not working.

  • Thanks OP. Worked for me perfectly even though I hadn't got any emails from eBay.

  • The code worked yesterday but not now.

    • It's only a single use coupon, so if you've already used it it won't work again.

  • bugger

  • Thanks for the post. Just bought one!
I also bought the 2tb Seagate backup slip from office works last week for $113 damn, i Wasted $33
