    Not even close. The quality is far superior, and this shoots RAW and has manual options. WiFi is a great addition too.

        Canon 80 Is a DSLR not a compact camera, G7XII is comparable to say a SONY RX100 Mk4 considering they are sensor sharing.

    Not quite, but the best camera to carry with you. Better than taking selfies with a mobile phone, with this you can do the same ting and upload it straight away too.

    For this price you may want to consider instead getting the Panasonic GX85 mirrorless which is on sale for $720 shipped @

  I have the Mark 1 and really liked it until my water bottle popped open in my bag where my camera was. It didn't look like much water got in but something must have shorted as after then it wouldn't turn on any more. I put it in a bag with rice for days, still no joy. :(

  Now I'm looking for looking to replace it with a Mark 1 or this Mark 2, or the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX100 III.
  Anybody know of good prices for those?

  Edit - I guess $720 for the Sony DSC-RX100 III from Teds (after the 20% discount) is a fairly good price, but not a huge bargain.
