Good deal. This is the only Choice Magazine recommended pram from Bugaboo. The other models such as the Chameleon and Donkey had safety failures - from memory it was to do with the seatbelts.
I've got the Bee3 and paid a lot more. Good stroller/pram (something in between) that folds up properly, especially at this price. Bugaboo's warranty (3 years) is very good as well. The extendable handlebar is great if you're tall like me and there's plenty of room in the basket under the stroller for groceries. It's probably mainly appealing to those who live in the city and walk around a fair bit and need something to fold up compactly in their small/medium city-sized cars. The canopy is amazing, It's great to keep your little one out of the sun and dry at the same time - haven't seen any other brand that comes close in this respect. You can also take your Bee to the gate when you're flying since they fold up flat. Finally, you can machine wash all fabrics which is a big plus (and it's easy to put back on)!
I've never checked it in at the gate as I'm always afraid it'll get damaged! Has yours always survived? I usually check it in, in the Bugaboo bag but that thing is heavy and so cumbersome!
I'm the same - In my experience. although most staff handle strollers with care, they do get thrown around a fair bit. I prefer taking our old McLaren (umbrella type) when we're travelling, is also easier to fit in a taxi.
We use our McClaren from travel as well but as just had a newborn, have taken the bee out of storage. We've had some dents and things in the McClaren which I can live with but if it was on my bee, I'd be so devo lol

Does anyone know if we need to still buy a normal sun canopy or will the breezy sun canopy do the job?
I have a bee and the sun canopy and an older normal canopy that doesn't cover the full 180. I've been waiting to get the new normal sun canopy as it has better coverage for winter…The breeze is good for summer as it's got more mesh bits on the sides. At this price I would definitely buy one! Just make sure you want it as if you pay via PayPal and you return it, you'll get refunded as a gift card not back onto your cc. I ordered the foot muff as well as it is a very good price but wasn't sure it'll go with my stroller so had to forgo the extra 10% :(
