    why not paypal??

  • Printer Supermarket Cost Per Copy
    Price is: 22.8523 cents
    that seems very high

  • $100+ for genuine toner @ 2,000 pages? Pass… You're paying for a box of toner. Doesn't even include the developer/drum etc. If you get the cheaper toners, they could easily go through the developer/drum and you will not only void your warranty, but you will be up for replacing those parts. Not economical and priced normal for a printer of that spec.

  • I have this exact model and after 2 extremely expensive printer ink replacements in 3 yrs, the drum is broken. It prints faded black ink and faded vertical black lines stain it as well.

Bought another $100 black ink replacement only to find it didn't work. Not worth fixing either.

I'm in the market for another duplexing colour laser MFP, suffice to say it won't be this one.

Mine might be a random dud and not reflective, but the post above is spot on, the running costs are high

  • @printersupermarket : Can you try posting a deal with a colour laser printer with low upfront costs & low running costs? (i.e. give startup toner number of pages + replacement toner costs & number of pages). Preferably with duplex printing + ethernet, if possible. In the past, the most popular laser printers here historically have low purchase costs ($60 to $199), and low running costs (and we're fine with compatible/generic toner cartridges available on eBay, although I understand that you'd want to sell those, but the sheer fact that compatible replacements exist elsewhere is a good indication that the running costs will be reasonable). Posts for models that are slightly superseded and so on clearance / special tend to do well too, because it lowers the upfront cost. Also I see that your website provides cost per copy, which is great!

    • Try the Brother MFC 9140CDN. If you want Wireless, Brother MFC 9330CDW.

  • My Brother costs $70 del. for a set of 4 replacement toner cartridges. (Would be $400-600 genuine).
So a few cents per page with modest colour use, 1c for B&W text.

Same seller is $289 per set of 4 for Lexmark - so check before buying! No bargain here if you are paying for consumables.
