The one and only question on the refill tube:
    Question:
Hi, Do you have a video showing how this works, I am trying to figure out how to use the balloons and little rubber seals.
    Reply:
    Hi,Barry
    Thanks for your inquiry.
    Water balloon playing ways:
    First game:
Throw and catch – Divide the kids into 2 teams and have them stand at a good distance apart. Each team gets a plastic tub filled with water balloons and an empty plastic tub. The teams take the water balloons and throw them at each other. While they are throwing water balloons they are also trying to catch the balloons that are being thrown at them. The balloons that are caught are placed in the empty container. When there are no more the caught balloons are counted and the team with the most wins
    Second game:
Target splash – Draw different targets on the sidewalk or driveway with sidewalk chalk. One at a time let the kids try and hit the targets with the water balloons
After the games are over give each child a sack or container and whoever picks up the most balloon pieces gets a prize
Sorry to tell you that we do not have the video showing how this works.

    Oh shit, still laughing.

Just tidy up your burst balloons once you've finished! I recently saw a family having a water balloon fight from kayaks in the local river. The burst balloons were floating on the surface of the water and being gulped down by fish and poked at curiously by ducks. I pointed this out to the parents (quietly), who said there wasn't any problem with that. When I asked them what would happen if they swallowed a balloon as big as their head, they got all the kids to pick up the burst ones then they went back to just splashing each other and throwing mud - it gives a much more satisfying splat!

Good thing that family was decent. I caught the train for the first time in many years and asked a scumbag politely to not shove his dirty tissues in between the wall and the seat. He started muttering under his breath and swore at me in some foreign Asian language I didn't understand. Some people are just pricks and don't give a rats arse about the environment or their fellow human beings.

  • I can't see how more balloons could possibly present a danger to any living thing.

  • what is the lead content of the paint used?

  • Bought 1, the code didn't work for more than 1 unit.

Don't expect this to arrive though, given their usual way of doing things :/

  • +2

For what it's worth, I have had good experiences with GB lately (in the last year), and they even sent a free replacement for a device that was dead-on-arrival.

  • +2

Wait, why do I need 500 pieces if the water balloons can be refillable?

Also, if they're refillable, wouldn't that put a dent in my profound and positive impact to wage war given that my opponent can just refill it and profoundly and positively impact me?

  • Tried the code, said the limit has already been reached :(

  • +3

Please don't buy this rubbish. We're forever picking up pieces of these balloons from parks and playgrounds.

    • +1

Yep buy a couple of super soakers, much more fun and not putting plastic in waterways.

    • For the record, the bunch-o-balloons ones say they're biodegradable. I've been told they start to perish after a few days (if left over in a bucket).

      • Like how those wet wipes are labelled flushable? Wouldn't trust it..

    • +1

100% all this crap ends up in the ocean as i've never seen anyone pick up their busted water balloons.

  • Perfect for the upcoming winter but alas all gone

  • Bought last time for $4.xx, notified it was sent but I never received it.

Can't be bothered to lodge a complaint/refund request.

    • Hand in your membership now!

      • Sometimes, I spend time lodging complaints when it's not about the money.

In this case, I can't say it was Gear Best, but most likely our wonderful postal service.

    • Same, dont think they even notify me that its been sent.

      • +1

        It's a bit bittersweet that I didn't get it.

I can't say I was looking forward to picking up 500 burst balloons from the garden.

  • Too late, cold is back, in Melbourne anyway. Brrrr

  • um, I managed to purchase, checkout was $1.32 odd, but its coming up as $5.09 on my statement

    is this normal?

  • Wow mine arrived today , I couldn't for the life of me remember ordering them .
