Users rating on CNET is 3.4 (out of 10). Lots of negative reviews and reports of multiple faults.

    • ha ha have you read the reviews? they really hate this phone. It's pretty good value based on the specs alone but if you read the reviews I think you might change your mind.

      • I was considering purchase of this unit and the Cnet unanimous poor reviews changed my mind rapidly. Just too many owners with software problems and apparent hardware failures also. I'll wait a while at the least :)

    Has wi-fi as well!

i'd rather fewer features and more reliability, you can pack a million features in a phone but if they don't work properly you won't use it!

Makes you wonder if they actually properly test their phones anymore based on user comments (reviews seem good enough strangely). Hardware on phones should just work and if there's a software bug it should be easy to release a fix. I think they are too busy churning out so many new models each year to care…

  • It's a decent phone, great price.

Read the 750 user reviews from GSM Arena. Will give you an idea of the problems people are having with the phone. And some that have been solved.

  • This is a pretty sweet deal. A real shame about problems though. I wonder if anyone tried a firmware upgrade.

  • Bought this!
Decent phone, just more of a spare phone incase I need one.
    Wifi! :)

I work for an Optus dealer and this phone is the one we've had to send away for repair most. Lots of people have sent this away 3 or 4 times with the same issues re-occuring. Stay away!

    • In that case there's an extension of warranty to 2 years for an extra $10, which I took out haha.
