  • Ebay have issued me with a refund. Wont be dealing with Shopping Square again

  • Was about to get eBay to step in then I got a SMS from Australia Post saying that that it will be delivered tomorrow. I do believe they misjudged the delivery time and got screwed by it. Now I believe alot of buyers are going to get this item for free (getting it after refunded or buyers lying) if they raise the issue with eBay as they do not have a reliable tracking.

  • There are small potion of the orders (out of 700 units) on these deals was delayed by courier.

Most the delayed orders are delivered last week. And the rest of delayed order will be delivered by this week or early next week. Please PM me or contact our CS team if you got any concern on your orders with shoppingsquare.com.au.

Would have been better if you had contacted the affected or even all buyers to let them know that there was a delay. Waiting 1.5+ months for an order is definitely a stretch (also as an ozbargainer seeing the price drop significantly whilst still waiting for my order hurts too!)

  • If you all receive it after getting a refund and the shipping info shows SS wasn't lying, will you pay SS back for it?

  • Still no delivery! Opened case with ebay. How long is this going to take :(

    • Hi abetastic
Please PM me with your order details, I will try to help to resolve it sooner.

  • Its almost 1.5 month since ordered and paid for. I still haven't receive it. :(

Rep please check, I haven't request for a refund yet.

    • Hi HandsomeManokey
Please PM me with your order details, I will to solve it.
      cheers

  • Same story here, nothing has turned up. Getting mixed responses from eBay CS and rep on OzBargain. Is it lost or is it on it's way? Zero communication about a delay prior to chasing them up for it. Got my eBay 'contract' now for a refund.. don't think I'll be signing that. So just waste of time really, good to see so many others in the same situation here. Noticing also for those who actually had theirs arrive that it's all in Chinese despite this post mentioning "Warranty Service in Australia" which I believe misleads to give a different impression, I'd seriously love to see how this would play out if you needed warranty service on this item. Definitely the last time I will order from Shopping Square.

    • Hi Vinniecorelli
I just send a PM to you. And our team is following up your order.
      cheers

  • Same here just raised a req wtih Ebay about my item 45 days in and still nothing

If you can PM the order details me, I might able to help
      cheers

    Got mine today.

  • Received a refund 2 days ago. Don't sign anything SS tells you to.

In myEbay, click the button saying you didn't receive the item. Tell SS that you've waited over 2 weeks longer than the latest estimate delivery date. SS will give you a (potentially fake) tracking number and tell you to keep waiting.

In 7 days time you can request ebay to step in and get them to refund you.

    • Thanks for the info, I have 2 days to go in my 7 days. They have asked me to sign a "missing in transit agreement form". Should I sign this?

I got a couple of questions to the OP @danilochan. How come there are so many people complaining of not receiving the camera? Do you think its possible that Shopping Square sold more cameras than they actually had to ship? Is it normal for this many items to go "missing in transit" for shopping square?

    • I think it was just the rep getting the delivery time wrong. Almost everything I've bought from china with free postage has taken a lot longer than it used to. Lately I get things from China in 6-10 weeks, but a few years ago I used to get everything within 2-3 weeks. I'm sure most people will end up getting the item but much slower than promised.

  • I think they never sent the items and had no intention to do so. They just wanted to sit on the money and then refund people after they start screaming.
Over the years ever since shopping online I have never had a case of item going missing and not getting delivered. I can understand that this happens but not with the magnitude here. So in my book dodgy as hell.

    • Hi nadan

All are items are dispatched as normal, and most of customer received their items as described. There are 100s of positive feedback on their XiaoFang order with us at the following link
      http://feedback.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback2&f…

If your haven't receive your orders, please PM me or contact our CS team. We here to help

      cheers.

More like 80 out of the 700 you claim to have sold, you are again discrediting your own claim. 80 out of 700 is never a good figure.

I don't think they are doing it intentionally to scam us, just using a poor business model that just failed really bad in the end. Got my order in today after a long wait and was even refunded (just messaged them on eBay so I can pay it back as well).

They have over 100 thousand feedback (even more if you count the buyers that don't give feedback at all), and no way they could operate a scam for that long without being detected/suspended by eBay by now.

In my opinion, they overestimated the shipping time and got screwed by it.

        • @centrelink:
Maybe, but you would think that if a business has been in operation for this long would know the parcel delivery back to front given the number of orders. It may well be a case of slow parcel delivery but then again their promise was for items getting delivered in the last week of May and still now show.

Over the years ever since shopping online I have never had a case of item going missing and not getting delivered.

You probably don't shop online much! :)

In this case, so far it looks like items haven't gone missing, the postal service is just taking their own sweet time.

why don't you come out as rep, you seem to be defending every comment that is not in favor of SS?

        • People here are just quick to accuse any company of wrongdoing without evidence.

Not surprisingly some of those people are also quick to accuse people of being what they're not. :)

        • -1

          @eug:
Not accusing, basing on the fact of my order.
You seem to be defending them in every post from them so it smells fishy.

        • @nadan: What fact?

I assume you haven't received your camera. Based on that, you conclude that SS never sent the items and had no intention of doing so?

So you're basically accusing SS of being scammers - taking your money and not giving you what you paid for?

Your only evidence is that you haven't received the camera? Is it not possible that there's a delay in the postal system somewhere? You yourself admitted that there might be a delay.

    My 2 Arrived…
Just thought after some of the comments I thought I would leave my 2 Cents.
From memory took a few weeks but arrived ok.
Took me awhile to get them connected - Had issues getting setup initially - once china was set as location went through ok.
Only gripe is Motion is to sensitave but happy with quality otherwise.

    mine arrived today!

  • Arrival was two weeks past the 'expected' delivery for me.
Lodged a 'where's my item' query on ebay in the morning and camera ironically turned up in the afternoon.
