Raspberry Pi 3 - USD $34.99 (~ $47.50 AUD) Delivered @ Arrow

170

Arrow.com are running a promo for a Raspberry Pi 3 - USD $24.49 (~ $33 AUD) including international priority shipping.
Enter the coupon code at the end of the checkout process (before payment) to get the USD 24.49 price. Code RASPI30 appears to have expired.

I grabbed one earlier, will update once it has been confirmed as shipped. Saw the original deal posted on Reddit.

Arrow were promoting the the discount code earlier, but they seem to have removed all mentions of it, however it still works - so not sure how much longer it will last.
Good luck.

Edit: Code appears to have expired :( sorry guys and gals

Edit 2: Even without the code, it is still a decent price delivered, with priority international shipping.

Edit 3: Just received shipping confirmation from my order earlier. Fedex tracking is showing estimated delivery for Monday - so they are shipping priority as promised.

      I got that error too. Maybe you were the last one OP!?

      I saw this deal on slickdeals yesterday, I assumed there wouldn't be free international priority shipping though!

        Sad, it's a good deal.

          Actually even without the promo code it's an alright deal ~$47 landed ??

          @leTintin:

          Yea, it's still a good deal regardless.

          Element14 is @ $49.50 excluding shipping.

          @athk: That's excluding GST (I purchased one last week).

        • +1

          @thomo8: Yep $54.45 inc GST

          @athk:

          Element14 is @ $49.50 excluding shipping.

          Nope, Element14 has always had free shipping for orders more than AU$45 (before GST). See "Free Next Day Delivery" heading on this page:
          http://au.element14.com/help-delivery-information?ICID=Promo…

          So the total price is $49.50 including shipping, but you have to add GST.

          good price indeed, even without promo code.

        • @Russ:

          Derrr, brian fart sorry. Same thing with the GST…

      • Sorry guys, I did test it just before posting and it worked :(

        How can I mark this deal as 'expired'

        • You could just change the deal to the amount without promo code?

        • @leTintin:

          Thanks, have updated deal.

        • @thomo8: Hey mate, just wondering if you got the pi delivered? The site says "This product may be export controlled and require additional documentation", did you have any trouble with it?

        • @haribabuvk: Hi, it shipped on Thursday via Fedex Priority, should arrive on Monday. Not expecting any issues.

    Is this the newest model? Can I install Retropie to run emulator on it?

    • +3

      Yes but it's expired now. Bummer.

    • +2

      It is and yes you can.

      There's two variants of the RPI 3, one made in London (I believe or UK anyway) and the cheaper version made in China. The board is a brighter green colour on the Chinese version.

      They run great, I've got two and two of the UK made ones..

    • +3

      Yep, it is the newer model and you can install RetroPie on it.

      • Can install Retropie on any version. Personally tried it on an original model with 256MB RAM. Wouldn't recommend it, but did install.

    Arrow sent me a 10% off code for signing up but it doesn't work either!

    Edit: In fine print at bottom of email "Products from Altera, BeagleBoard.org, FTDI Chip, Raspberry Pi Foundation, and Linear Technology excluded."

      Mate, $39.99 is USD, convert to AU is $54.35

      • Damn, it is too! Sorry man!
