This is primarily a sampler/sequencer, but still fun to play with…
Does this thing also fly and go into hyperspace as well? Looks like the Falcon.
Good price…I am looking for a Novation Launchpad but this one looks interesting.
From a quick search it seems like the original $200 was a good deal. (Found it for $400 at two other Aus retailers)

But for $200 you could get the full 64 button Novation Launchpad. Why would you want this?
Maybe form-factor? It's much more portable, especially if you just want the sequencer. Here's another review:
The Launchpad is a controller, this is more like the Novation Circuit, a portable Groove Box
So is it fair to say this is probably better for music creation in isolation as it includes the synth/sounds, whereas a controller does not?
@elbento: Yeah, a controller uses a computer (or tablet/phone) to do the hard work. While this has sequencer and samples on-board. I'd be surprised if you couldn't use the Casio as a controller as well though.
@Buzzard: Apparently it doesn't have MIDI interface - USB only but can sample sounds from phone/computer I think.
Tempted, but I feel there are heaps of iPad apps that do similar things for a lot less (assuming you already have an iPad).
True, but software buttons will always have more lag than physical, not counting lag inherent in the synth itself.
