  • If I remember correctly this is quite limited. Mammy features are premium

  • I've been using this program for years. The part that says no updating is actually a good thing. Any time you update this damn thing it seems to break in some way. Was the same for the previous 2 versions too. Aside from that its a great program.

I have used this a couple of months now. Can't fault it since it is free. Handles most video formats except for the higher definition formats like 2K, 4K and AVCHD. But if you shoot in H.264 1920x1080 (16Mbps), this app is more than adequate. One nice feature is it even does "Ken Burns type effect" on movie clips as well (and not just photo stills). Good for weddings where you can place a video camera on a tripod capturing the whole scene and using this feature to zoom in to areas of interest giving the impression that it is shot with multiple cameras (and without the camera shakes).

  • Installed OK.
Said 'No' to receive updates and technical support etc, as they are excluded in the free version anyway.

I love the "let's play: find the right download button" game on their website.

    • I hate websites like that.

Unfortunately, this free version only allows you to produce a final video as an .mp4 file. Any other file formats or containers require an additional purchase. The software also does not let you output video in a resolution higher than 640×480 unless you make an additional purchase.

Can anyone confirm if this is true?

  • Downloaded and install just to realize I already have a cyberlink PDR preinstalled by Dell. sweet

Just downloaded and installed. Doesn't let you work with 4k videos.
    Uninstalled after that.

This is useless version as it allows maximum video resolution just 640×480
