Balmain Original Bock (best before 7/12/16) $35 Per Case @ Jim's Cellars, in Store and Online (Inc Sydney Metro Delivery $41)

I came across a whole pallet of this fine dark lager walking in to Jim's Cellars Waitara, it is "out of date" however still tastes mighty fine.

You would normally expect to pay in your mid $60's for this Dark Lager however it still drinks the same out of date and works out to be cheaper even if you can't pick up in store and have to get delivery.

Here is some further info on Delivery Charges

A true to style german dark lager. it’s a brew created in honour of the great old Balmain brewery of the 1980’s, so fondly remembered by many for its lager and bock at a true to style german dark lager. it’s a brew created in honour of the great old Balmain brewery of the 1980’s, so fondly remembered by many for its lager and bock at the time! this unique beer is a classical dark beer brewed to be full and rich. there is a perfect mix of malt flavours, roast coffee and caramel on a clean spicy hop backbone which gives this classical beer great balance. Balmain bock has just enough bitterness to cleanse the palate for another one.

    expired alchohol?

    • It doesn't get less alcoholic if thats what you're asking.. Beer generally changes flavour over time and it often has more of a negative affect compared to ageing wines!

No, just curious if it is "best before" or "used by". I presume it's best before.

        • Best Before, just like in the title :)
