09/09/10 … writing the date like that gets me so confused - is it written with the month or the day first?

09/09/10 to 15/09/10…have a guess relating it to the second date…"15" is it a month or a day

          Are we in america?

          • @lovedeals: No, but when even Australian sites display display date in the MM/DD/YY format it can be worth checking (eg Fairfax news sites). Not that I think 9/9/10 should be a problem.

        • +7

October the tenth should have you in a right tizzy.

@bargainhunter: 10/10/10 your right that makes it really confusing

        (kidding)

        • shouldn't of responded so fast, i want to see how many people saying they tried it and it didn't work XD

          • @tomsco: I was SO tempted, but I didn't want to annoy people.

But another way of changing the date to see the new catalogue is to hold down the Alt key and then press F4. Try it and see if it works ! ……..

Just a few things I found were different in the Tassie catalogue today:

    HALF PRICE:
    - Coles Bakery Sponge Roll 300g: $1.64
    - Big M Flavoured Milk 2L: $2.49

    BETTER THAN HALF PRICE:
Vileda Indoor or Outdoor Brooms: $11 (was $15)

    NOT IN THE TASSIE CATALOGUE:
    - Carrots
    - Lettuce
    - Trail Mix
    - Oak Flav Milk, replaced with Big M 2L: $2.49

    • Hmm, Big M also in Melbourne for $2.49. Thanks for the heads up mate… love that stuff :)

    • What! No cheep Oak chocolate milk? My condolences.

  • Hey dude, thanks for painstakingly typing them out all the time :)
Always used to check catalogues online each week for both supermarkets but this is far easier for me to parse.

One tip though, the fresh produce tends to be different in different areas (eg the carrots are a hefty $1.20/kilo bag in the SEQLD catalogue, and as mentioned above not in the Tas one)
I'd recommend you not include them in your list, or if you do, mention which state you're checking the deals for.

Not that I buy fresh veg at supermarkets any more… farmers markets ftw, heheh

  • This is the first time I use this web site, I am surprised to see the coles specials and discounts products here, thanks for your information.
