Vat removed at checkout. Base are good to deal with, but they don't accept Paypal. Most credit cards charge a 3% foreign currency conversion fee, which you'll need to factor in to the price, but still works out cheaper than anywhere else.

  • I thought they'd be cheaper than OzGameShop, I just hadn't had a chance to check it out. Well done.

  • How's this game anyway?

bit polarising. I returned it to EB as it seemed to be terribly repetitive, but a lot of people really love it.

The story is laid out in such a way that you need to finish the game several times.

      • ahh, so you finish it a few times and you get difference pieces to the story?

I didn'tk now EB lets you return games that's boring or not to your liking?

    • There's a demo available if you wanted to try it out.

Games that interest me in this sale (other than Nier):

Sniper Elite 3 for 13 pounds
Stardew Valley CE for 15 pounds
    WWE 2k17 for 20 pounds

All pretty good. Might buy a bundle tonight.

It's now saying £29.75. I was about to place an order of 5 games but I think I'll hold out and see if it drops back down.

See description - VAT removed at checkout. The price has not changed.

      • Oh whoops silly me! 😁😁

  • This game continues to tempt me.

I decided to buy and finish Persona 5 before getting this, and the global stock shortage and shitty Australian pricing was making that easier to do. But now there are bargains for import copies showing up every day.

    • Do it, seriously it's a must play. The game is very good in the way how it's something different and unique. Initially at first play-through you might think it is a little dull, but once you keep doing multiple play-through's of the game it just gets better. And also, the sound-track of the game is amazing.

      • Oh I'll definitely be playing it at some point, I'm just trying to show a bit of restraint so I can give Persona 5 and Nier Automata (and Zelda, eventually) the proper time and attention.

  • Decent price ($51.89 AUD) for the PC version here: https://www.cdkeys.com/pc/games/nier-automata-pc-steam-cd-ke…

  • Just curious but with ps4 games, is base.com UK so any games you buy the DLC content would be available in Aus? I only ask as I don't know how it all works but I thought ps4 games weren't region locked? When I tried to get a price match to fishpond.com.au or ozgameshop for overcooked on ps4, he dropped the price but couldn't price match to the $31/32 the onlien stores were doing as they didn't mention if they were local versions. that is - they would have dlc or content that works in aus. WHen I queried given there isn't region locked i thought, he mentioned how some dlc content was japan only for example, hence it isn't straight price matched at jb? Still.. got it for $35 instead of $39, so $2-3 more than online, but got to play it that same night for a party so guess it wasn't too bad.

    • PS4 games aren't region locked, but DLC is, meaning that if you had a UK copy of a game and wanted DLC for that game, you'd need the DLC from the UK store (and obviously a UK PSN account to buy/play).

      • I've got several games from the UK with DLC codes and the codes work on the Australia PSN Store.
