How is it 50% off? I am confused.

Edit: Oh I see, you aren't valuing the biscuits.

      • +4

Buy all the biscuits and give them to homeless!!!

        • +1

Does living under a bridge count as "homeless"?

Someone immediately springs to mind. 🙄

    • +1

      $50 max claim per household.

      • +3

Does this mean that homeless people cannot make a claim?

        • +1

Are you calling Chris the op?

    • I think you may be referring to the Woolworths special which is offering them at the same price this week. This deal is for Coles.

      • hmm duplicate?

        https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/305644

edit: i suppose the Coles special is a deal itself

        • That's a deal about claiming a $5 or $10 Rebel Voucher When You Purchase a 3x250ml or 6x250ml Pack of UP&GO or Weet-Bix GO which is linked to in the description.

    • extra 5% off by using gift cards :)

    • but no $5 Rebel card!

      • Yes there is a $5 rebel card per pack at woolworths purchased packs.

  • Are these actually any good though?

    • Not healthy.

      • +3

card board tastes better than weet bix imo

        • Which cardboard(s) do you recommend? I musn't have had very good ones.

    • I don't mind them, although they're probably not the greatest thing to have for breakfast

    • No. I'd rather and Up & Go or a Carman's muesli bar.

  • If these are only a 3 health star, it's probably not the best breakfast to have right? Just need to know if these biscuit replacement things are indeed good for you

    • +6

Choice has reviewed them. In short, they're high in fat and sugar, and lack other important components of breakfast like vitamins and calcium. Passable as a travel or emergency breakfast, but no substitute for a proper everyday breakfast.

They taste delicious but just looking at the ingredients, the sugar content is absurdly high and it seems to lack in other components.

If you really want a quick, healthy and cheap breakfast, get a blender and blend:
      Quick oats
      Frozen Blueberries
      2-3 cups of spinach
      1 cup of milk
      1 spoonful of peanut butter
Optional: +Scoop of whey protein powder, greek yoghurt

      • Spinach! Yuk.

        • +1

Trust me when I say this, you won't be able to taste it if blended.

      • +2

But after having to wash the blender, it's not all that quick anymore. :(

Just like weetbix, except loaded with fat and sugar.

Each biscuit has as much sugar as a small glass of cocacola.

    And a tablespoon of fat.

  • Now what the hell do I do with these 10 boxes of sugar?
    Gumtree for free I guess

  • Why do some people have to be so sour about how much sugar and fat these biscuits contain? Personally I find these quite nice and they are definitely healthier than Tim Tams. If you eat Tim Tams or Nutella then stop complaining about the sugar and fat, or just be a regular gym goer and burn it off instead of being so overly anxious about your daily calorie intake.

    • +3

You eat Tim Tams for breakfast?

      • +1

Who said breakfast biscuits can only be eaten for breakfast? They are just biscuits and they are healthier than Tim Tams as morning tea or snack. Of course if you are comparing these biscuits to your veggie sticks then it is full of sugar and fat.

      • One can break many fasts over the course of a day with Tim Tams!

    • +1

If you're in Melbourne, you can have my 10 boxes for free

  • +1

BEWARE - you can only add in 1 code per day… If you are buying 10 products of the $5 vouchers to get to your $50, It will take you 10 days to enter in the codes before you can redeem. $10 vouchers might be the worth considering so it's only 5 days worth of pain!! (and you have to remember to actually enter then daily!)

    • Oh…. thanks for the heads up missspeckles.
