  • All grey imports with little warranty support.

    • Hello jhk365,

We have a 1-year warranty on all the products listed on our store. Items can be sent to our Melbourne office for repairs/replacements.

      • Rather buy local stock for peace of mind.

Grey imports should be much cheaper as it won't provide the quality level of customer care ynder Australian Consumer Law. But thanks anyway.

        • I think 25% price difference makes it a better deal than buying local. If the price difference was 5-10% then I would have agreed with you.

        • @shopmonk:

Prices will only go down, overseas model pricing should not be compared with local stock as they are different in nature.

You can keep trying to make the price appealing but you can't compare a foreign model to local model pricing as they hold different value, so in fact it is NOT 25% discount.

Wise consumers will always choose local product over grey imports unless it's way, way cheaper.

        • @jhk365: I don't think a negative is justified just because you think it's not a deal. Show me a cheaper source anywhere on ebay- overseas or local.

There are lot of people who would consider the price as reasonable because it's nearly $100 cheaper than local stock.

          @shopmonk:

I didn't neg you for pricing, I negged you for this:

          Hi shopmonk..

Perhaps you could explain why your first 11 feedback were all fake reviews posted at the same time for items that didn't even exist?

Or why you originally listed your items and called yourself an ebay preferred seller (before it had to be removed).

Or even why you were originally selling items above RRP before the 20% discount? (eg Bose QC35 at $549)

Or why you are listed as being in Singapore but are actually registered in Delhi?

Personally I wouldn't ever buy any of your products after these lies..

      • +2

And who will do the repair say if the motherboard is kaput. You are just a middlemen here with no distribution or channel who will support you to provide replacement.

        • If it's within one year, it will be covered under the warranty by shopmonk.

      • Can you state the full replacement policy. You understand that as an Australian Business you have to support the consumer guarantee guidelines and just cant wash hands saying 12M warranty ?

  • That S7 is the Snapdragon version. Can be purchased cheaper on eBay with those other dodgy sellers!

Not even an Australian Company, so same as buying from HK/Singapore/CN sellers

We constantly strive to provide you products with the highest standards of quality. In-case you were to notice a manufacturing defect in the product delivered to you, please write to us at [email protected] within 24 hours of receiving the product.

You are absolutely right, this seller owes a good explanation. It's better to be careful than sorry with these international sellers.

      • Yep, can't trust any of them anymore… should of stuck with Vaya when it was cheap lol

      Hello smashed,
11 feedbacks weren't fake. I will post a picture of tracking numbers. That was in fact, one of the first listings, The listing was there until they uploaded new products for this 20% promotion. I still have few of those headphones in Yarraville warehouse- Happy to send you one for $12.95 if you need it.

I can't change my own status in eBay to call myself "Preferred seller". eBay tagged us as "preferred seller" but they removed it after a while- I don't even know how you become a preferred seller.

Items over RRP- It was a mistake on our part, which we corrected straightway. Please understand that new sellers do make mistakes, we are no different. It was a pricing mistake.

Our warehouse is in Singapore and we ship from there. Longman capital is a Singapore based company.

      • +7

Are you HONESTLY telling me that 11 people woke up and decided to leave positive feedback on the same day http://feedback.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback2&f…

Having bought an item called "basic headphones" which had an image of BOSE headphones. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Basic-headphones-/282472015457

And they were all dispatched from Singapore and received within 1 day.

That is 100% rubbish. You should be banned from both Ebay and Ozbargain for such lies.

Posts like this should remain to advise customers not to deal with you.

        • Mate those headphones were shipped with Australia post from Yarraville for next day delivery. See receipt below.

An email was sent to around 200+ of our contacts to buy something from our ebay store and everyone chose to buy the cheapest item.

Please don't assume things- ask me and I am ready to answer all- why would eBay and Ozbargain will ban us if we are trying to be as transparent as possible.

Now can you please send me a link for a better price for overseas or local stock?

        • +4

          @shopmonk:

Where did you get Ebay contacts from if you had zero purchases?

You seriously sold basic headphones with no description whatsoever… and people couldn't resist ordering them.

In fact all 11 people ordered on one day and within 24 hours (even less IIRC) ALL 11 people raved to post reviews such as "Probably the best seller on eBay! Thanks so much A++" for basic headphones with zero description.

Ebay buyers do not rush to post feedback..definitely not 100% of them.

          Total BS

Basic Headphones with a Bose QC35 pic in Description. What headphones were they actually. Can you take a pic of what you have in Yarraville and can post a pic now. Just remember you leave your traces on the Internet and its not easy to scam or say even make a quick buck these days

        • -1

Let me go to warehouse and get a picture for you. Do you want me to walk up to Yarraville station and take station as background?

    • -3

Our current feedback on ebay is 80-all positive. You could argue all day that all 80 feedback is fake and I can't give you enough proof that it is all genuine.

  • +1

I don't doubt that you ship genuine items from Singapore / India.

The CEO lives in Delhi, the company is registered in Delhi.

Irrespective of the authenticity of the item (which I don't doubt), I would rather spend a bit more and pay somebody who is honest.

Lying companies have the worst customer service.

    Ciao

    • -4

Even if CEO lives in Delhi (Which isn't true), how does that justifies your neg on this deal?
Item I have listed is manufactured by Samsung- I have clearly stated that it's overseas stock. You can't provide me the link for cheaper available stock (Overseas or local). I don't understand your logic here.

I have given enough justification for all the points you raised.

Why is this so hard for new sellers to submit their products as "DEALS". How much lower the overseas stock needs to be to be considered a deal?

      • +3

        Do you not get it?

Consumer reviews in India for this company do not look good.

        You are clearly lying.

Your own CEO put fake reviews on the internet.

Your ebay feedback started with fake reviews.

        You are still lying now.

I wish that I could double negative this..

I would prefer to give my cash to somebody honest.

        • But but….what did I lie about? I have only been trying to explain the things to you. I even sent you a picture of tracking numbers.

Why Can't you believe 80 positive reviews on Australian website?

You have been negging all my comments. Can you explain why?

        • +2

          @shopmonk:
You started your Australian eBay feedback with plainly obvious fake feedback. Even a small child can see that.
You start with lies, how would it end say with a warranty claim?
Not well I would expect. You seem very dodgy.

  • Plenty of people buy grey imports with weak warranties, or from OS, with limited warranties in Australia. For these people cheap prices matter more than full warranties. So what's the problem?

This deal must have passed OzBargain's guidelines for it to be allowed here, right? Or does it also need to get the approval of the two or three vehement people here?

    • -1

      Thanks NightElfHunter.

Neg for major problem with seller (liars)

        • Mate, I have explained this that the feedback wasn't fake. We sent an email to 200+ contact on our records who are our customers from wholesale business. We requested them to check our ebay store and give us some feedback and buy something. Everyone chose to buy the cheapest item. Please see link below for tracking number and ebay IDs showing they weren't made up contacts. As you could see from the feedback score that they aren't new ebay accounts.

          Ozbargainers are not fools.
          You are a bullshit artist

        • @King Tightarse: I know that because I am one of them. I understand you are more active Memeber on this website but that doesn't mean whatever you say/think is right.
Consiperacy theorists like you believe US government was behind 9/11 to put doubts in people's mind. Why can't you believe what you see.

        • +1

          @shopmonk:
I would normally argue the point and happily discuss the finer details of a deal that was in doubt but every so often a case comes along that is so amateurishly put together, so obviously a lie that it is beyond reason.
I don't think I have ever done it beforehand, but in your case I am happy to look you in the eye and simply shout "BULLSHIT" because no other word is more suitable.
Your eBay feedback is clearly manipulated and you are a bullshit artist.

        • @King Tightarse: do you even know how feedback on ebay works?? No one can add feedback unless they buy and pay for the item. There is no other way. Do you know any other way to add feedback to ebay? Don't assume there must be some other way- there isn't.

        • @shopmonk: Happy to meet you in person because I am also in melbourne. I invite you to come to Yarraville and I will show you around our warehouse here. (Although all the ebay stocks are in Singapore, we have our wholesale stocks in Australian warehouse)

This is in response to where you want to look me in the eye and say something

        • @King Tightarse: mate, ebay feedback can not be manipulated. Stop overthinking. I am happy to discuss it with Mods, can provide proofs of whatever is reasonable.

        • @shopmonk:

I am 100% sure you manipulated your eBay feedback.
You do realise that its completely against ebay policy in the list of banned actions regarding feedback'
          http://pages.ebay.com.au/help/policies/feedback-manipulation…

          FEEDBACK MANIPULATION: NOT ALLOWED:

"Offering to sell, buy, barter, or give away Feedback
Working with other members or registering multiple accounts to artificially increase your Feedback score."

You did it so childishly that if people report it en-masse, you may well lose your account.
          ebay specifically encourages people to
"Report members who are artificially increasing their Feedback score"
          And you deserve it.
I cant stand people who attempt to manipulate, mislead and lie to OzBargainers.

You are fighting a losing battle "Shopmonk" all this arguing and denying the obvious, childishly fake eBay feedback has pretty much wrecked your reputation here on OzBargain. This lying and weaseling wording around will follow you and people will remember.
Trust is something that has to be earned and you have blown it.
