The other brand they sell with the same dimensions says "200kg load per shelf"… Another-words a motorbike on each shelf, sounds like a lot!
Not sure if it's the same one, but some of the the shelves on ours warped/sagged very slowly under some heavy-ish/poorly positioned weight over a couple years and then then suddenly popped out of the metal frame (they weren't supported underneath, kind of just slotted in) and fell through onto everything on the shelf below.
We were careful with the positioning/weight on the rest of the shelves after that and haven't had a problem but we've since moved most of the heavier items off it anyways.
Yep, mine warped too with the Montgomery's thin MDF, in only a few months. They were kept in a dry area and only held as little as 10 kg. As it is within a year old, I am thinking of returning the MDF and try to swap it with some wire shelving Bunnings sell.
Do you mean "In other words"?
Oops, even the urban dictionary didn't save me! 'incorrect hearing of "in other words"'
Lol just checking
I've got no arms, legs, or head, so use voice recognition which i always blame for this kind of calamity.
It varies widely from model to model. Website does not give description, so I assume not a lot. A visit in store may tell you on the box. The ones at Masters (RIP) had a higher rating, they were around 300kg per shelf from memory.
See if I can grab one this time..
A tad too deep for my garage. Hope the smaller one goes on special soon.
I bought the same branded four-tier shelf last week. Didn't need an extra shelf anyway!
Lots of stock yesterday at Bunnings Box Hill.
Excellent shelves, same deal as previous: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/302639
Also would recommend this as someone who has assembled lots of the bolt together shelves. You save a hell of a lot of time using the keyhole type assembly ones.
I've done around 30-40 of the bolt together ones (which Bunnings seems to have for between $12 to $20) and would say the $40 for this one is a bargain in comparison!

Could you possibly link to them please?
I noticed when i physically visited Bunnings store last Saturday that they had the bolt together shelves marked down to $12 in Wollongong. They are fairly common. Appears to be still at that price online. Note, not 1.8m high but I usually buy in lots of two to create whatever height needed..

Cheers mate, yeah I saw them tonight at my local. 30cm depth is too shallow though imo.
@CVonC: it's actually pretty good for some spaces and perfect for electrical tool storage (drills, chargers, bits..)
Not great for storage of large wide objects of course (like storage boxes)
For future reference,
150kg per shelf.
Next model up is the Pinnacle or Romak w/ 200kg per shelf (slightly sturdier steel + a middle bar per shelf)
Got one, plenty available in Cranbourne.
Saw some bunnings shelves (not sure if this is one of those), which could hardly hold 70kg on the edge in case you need to climb up to get something. The one I got for $99 from Costco can handle 400kg per shelf and can certainly withstand 70-80kg on the edge of the frame. But this is good value for 40 bucks.
how much weight can each shelf take?
