110

The Gamesmen are selling PlayStation VR with Camera & VR Worlds Bundle for $497 plus about $12-$15 shipping. A saving of $197.85 (according to The Gamesmen).

I ordered mine from them last night for $529 only to see the price drop this morning. :/

Got an email this afternoon saying it's in stock and ready to be picked up. Just in time for the long weekend!

I'm wary buying Sony peripheral products, they didn't support eyetoy, move on ps3 or even the vita.

PSVR has passed the million sales mark since it went on sale in October last year, and has the full support of Sony behind it. It's here for the long run.

Vita has 10 million sales worldwide, I mean im sure VR is great and all that but they cant even support there own handheld console

        • Vita was a different beast. Gaming on iPads, smartphones made it almost redundant, and it came too late to market to really compete with Nintendo's DS/3DS. Keep in mind it's still doing very well in Japan (it even outsold PS4 in some years), and Sony has hinted it's not quite done with handhelds yet. :)

"Sony has hinted it's not quite done with handhelds yet. :)"

As a PSP and Vita owner, I am sure done with Sony handhelds. I have a LOT of Vita games, but it's survival was totally in spite of Sony. That's the last time I buy from them.

  • You need a PS4 yes, so thats alot of dough all up for an additional side console along with the previous. I get that gaming is an expensive hobby however.

With that said, I like the concept, i appreciate they tried this, gaming needs to experiment more. Its certainly ironic given what its influenced by and where the ideas come from, and the general attitude console warriors had towards a couple of certain platforms doing that sort of thing, but i can appreciate it.

Console warriors: "I just want a standard controller when i come home",
Sees PS4 Logo: "Game Changer, Sign me up guys! The Future of Gaming is Here! " LOL.

    • They should have made all their software 3d ready, meaning it works in 3d on a 3d tv and then psvr compatible, which gives you the whole immersion experience.
But I'm just a consumer, why would I want to play in 3d?

  • Purchased, thanks.
