  This is not a local release copy according to their FAQ's

  The game says NTSC. Will it work on my Australian console?
  aussie_gamers: All our games will work on Australian PAL consoles. We import our games so we can sell them cheaper to you. Occasionally the games are NTSC games, but we always ensure that the game will work on a PAL console before listing the games on eBay.

        not fair to compare international and local. typically to do with local support, though not that you really need it for a game as most of the support is international.

        also the link you've posted is a pre order.

          The game is released today so they'll send it regardless.

          None of these are the Australian copy anyway and there's a very low risk that something will be wrong with the actual disc. It all comes down to delivery time.

  most likely a RF region, "region free" if he says it works on PAL. cause RF regions can work on both NTSC and PAL consoles.

  i prefer to purchase my copy from a gaming outlet like "Game"

  All halo games to date except halo combat evolved will work on any xbox 360 console, the best site for compatibility questions is play Asia , also I font think a foreign option is worth a neg, since the draw backs are the longer postage and loss of trade in opportunity, assuming that the eBay seller is selling
  pal copies, my legendary copy came today so I don't care : p

  Aussie Gamers almost always sells UK PAL import copies anyway, so either way, whichever seller you choose to buy it from, it still won't be a local Aus copy.

  I asked them, and they confirmed that it's the NTSC-J version (Hong Kong import) which has Chinese writing on the case. Might as well just buy it from a Hong Kong seller for cheaper if it's an imported version.
