• Open the Google Home app .
• In the top left corner of the screen, tap Menu and then Offers.

    Was it done at time of activation?
    Strange.. Maybe it is targeted?

    I activated it on android S8+ and installed the YouTube music as part of Google home activation.

    I had no active subscription but have have had trial and paid subscription before.
    Mine is the US version bought from recent ebay 15%deal.

  Bought new Aussie Google home and got my 6 months subscription by following directions above. Great. Took a couple of updates before I could setup the home as an Aussie version.

  As a huge bonus, just noticed that I was able to upgrade this 6 month trial to a family plan at no extra cost. A big win as now other members of my family also get 6 months free too. Excellent. To get this just go to upgrade subscription to family plan and follow the prompts.

  I activated today (in NSW) and it gives me 14 day trial, then an offer of another 3 months after that (if activated by 31/12/2017). I would have loved the 6 but $11.99 x 3 = $35.97 - so it chipped away at the $53 bucks I got it for at Officeworks. Very happy with the device =]
