  • That's half the price of Dan Murphys fyi ($19.99 for 4 pack = $120 a case!). Are these close to use by date or something OP?

      Hi mate. No. Brand new stock. BBE 10/18

      • Nice deal for a perfect beer.

        If you made up a half and half case blond/brune I'd marry your sister. Just sayin'

        • +13

          I'll send a link in 5 mins (I've already called my Sister) :-)

          yeah but one's a Lesbian.. good luck (thanks for the orders)

          Bloody legend!

          (where do I send the ring)

        • +1

          @testpilot147

          Gonna run out of sisters soon. I just ordered one too!

        • @noone: like

          @carwashhair: Thanks mate :-)

        • @testpilot147: This. is. Fantastic….got one too!!!

          @testpilot147:

          Awesome work OP, up voted because of the awesome customer service you're offering, plus the prices seem really good!

        • @carwashhair:

          Me too. Made me order without much deliberation

        • @testpilot147: Awesome, thanks! Have chucked in an order :)

        • +4

          2 sisters?

          I'm guessing one is blonde, one is brune.

        • +9

          Hey dude. Can you please send me your order number so I can identify you please? Your 50/50 idea went ballistic so want to thank you. . Just send to [email protected]

    • Dan has been a rip off for Leffe for a long time.

      There are some independent bottle shops selling the Blond for $60 as a standard price.

      • +1

        Link or it didn't happen :-)

        • +1

          exactly

        • I wouldn't say it's unbelievable…. it's always $70 at Cons Liqour.
          Another place in Scarbs I've been to that sells it for $70 too
          http://www.boozle.com.au/store/7458/p/11941-leffe-blonde-24-…

        • That's an alright price but still tad more and have to be local. The future unfortunately for local independents is delivery of everything. Just wait til that big delivery company comes!

        • My local Stax was selling blonde for $60. Mr Liquor has it for $65.

        • @Hellfire:

          10% more expensive after postage. That's not the ozbargain way my friend.

        • +2

          @swapsey:

          I wasn't suggesting that it was a better deal than posted here. Just that there are cheaper alternatives to Dan Murphy all the time.

  • Cheers mate,

    Nearly bought from DM, but too expensive…now the price is right. Any special for hoegaarden as well like before?

    • No. Hoegaarden has completely dried up at the moment. 3 sources. All out! :-(

  • How do you get delivery for $3.5 a case.

    I mean that is cheap. Delivery cost in Australia is what kills online shopping

    • +2

      Live in Sydney? Get $3.50 and yes couriers costs in Australia are normally horrendous sadly

      • +2

        I am in Melb. $6.95 for me. More expensive than Sydney, but I have a better chance of owning some kind of a home here than in Syd (not that I do. It is the thought that counts)

        I cannot even send a 500g parcel by Australia post for $6.95 let alone a slab of beer.

        Looking forward to some leffe

  • +1

    Thanks OP - always struggled when having to choose between the blonde and the brunette; love both but don't drink a lot of beer and no space to have cartons lying around. You solved my problem.

  • Ordered! Thanks

  • Good price. Ordered, thanks.

  • +1

    Awesome - was waiting for special on Leffe. Ordered. Thanks

  • +2

    I'm yet to find a beer that tastes as good. Absolute score.

    • Have you tried a wide range of local craft beer?

      • +1

        Lost count. Leffe blonde seems, to me at least, how beer should taste.

        • How does Leffe Blonde and Brune compare to Trappist beers? I've never tried Leffe, not sure if I should jump on this. ABI owning Leffe is holding me back too.

        • +1

          @Fobsessive: leffe blonde taste like nectar middled with hops. Its froth is fine and between what you'd get at the pub with a commercial local and Guinness. Magic all round.

        • +2

          @Fobsessive: Its has a bit more of a generic, 'mass produced' taste compared to the smaller Belgian breweries, but its a damn good beer regardless.

          A lot of caramel/toffee, with some fruit and spice. I normally prefer the Brune's but for Leffe I would go for the Blonde

        • +2

          @Fobsessive:

          too sweet for my liking - have you had other abbey ales and belgian beers such as Tripel Karmeliet, La Chouffe, Struise Pannepot, Struise Black Albert?

        • +2

          @tonester:

          Here's someone with a non commercial, label driven pallet. You sir, have good taste, and a big budget too for your passion.

          Born in Belgium myself, I was raised watching dad get crates ( usually two or more styles ) of beer delivered from the local brewery direct to our own cellar ( thick 500ml.-750 ml. bottles with swivel tops like Grolsh that were washed and re-used ).

          As most locals there, they know and like dozens of other styles they will drink in restaurants and cafe's depending on the mood and season. Duivel was one of his favourites when out with mates.

          I like Leffe beers myself, but don't just stop there. Belgium beers are wide in style from dry to sweet, blonde to dark 13% beers, with well over one thousand years refined experience. For more info, link below.

          @ozhunter68:

          thanks - can't believe i forgot to mention Duvel! :)

        • @tonester:

          Just noticed your user name, thanks for lot's of great wine posts too over the years. I'm a wine lover/industry worker myself. Good to see you have good taste in beer too lol.

    Would dan Murphys price match this? I'm in Melbourne and want some for the weekend.

    • I tried in Adelaide. They're happy to match price of 1 carton for $59, the second carton at $100.

  • +3

    This is one of my favourites. Ordered a half and half. Please advise a courier that I'm home, waiting for the case to be delivered!

  • No delivery to 4670?

  • -4

    Very silly. Leffe Half Blond Half Brune? What if you want only Brune?

    Not happy Jan.

    • +3

      The long awaited Leffe Brune has also just arrived $68.99 a case

      Reading ftw

      • Thanks for that. What I will say I did look for it by selecting Belgium and it didn't display there. Had to just do a manual search.

    • +1

      I'd suggest if you want Brune Cubacat, buy Brune.

    Just found 24 Leffe Brune for $65 at Jim's Cellars http://www.jimscellars.com.au/_product/search-products?searc…

  • Why don't you guys ship to FNQ?

    • +2

      We can ship anywhere, but we have disabled some area in Australia due to courier costs. Happy to quote you if you send me your town name and postcode?

  • Good price, bought some blonde. Thanks :)

  • Should I get an order confirmation email ? Haven't got any since Friday 23rd.

    • hi d86. Yes an order confirmation email would have been sent to you when you ordered but PM me your details and i'll chase it up.

      • a few bounces on Friday. Mainly due to gmail.com.au? email address's etc

        • Hi Rep, I had a delivery yesterday, but unfortunately no one was home. A courier left a notice, but now it is next to impossible to arrange the redelivery with this freight company. They NEVER answer the phone calls. Been on hold for 2.5 hours today before their phone system hung up on me. Can you please help follow up with them ? My consignment is DD797146.

        • +1

          Sure. On to it. I'll email you back d86

        • @d86: Delivered today 7.13pm right?

        • @testpilot147: Was just about to update you. Yes, that's right, finally delivered. Thank you.

  • Hi ..is there an option to collect from store, just to be sure to have it by Friday in time for the weekend ?

    • Hi Jabberwocky. Sorry mate. Just saw this message. Can you possibly pick up tomorrow (Friday) ? Please email me [email protected] Thanks

  • Still waiting for my case to be delivered to Perth. Ordered on 23/6, got shipment email on 28/6 with tracking number but even until today tracking only shows 28/06/2017 09:15PM On-Forwarded.

    Has anyone in Perth received theirs?

    • Hi Noone,
