  • How much is the saving ???

  • +1

    not at all a bargain
can fly with Etihad within the dates for $1680 direct from sydney
and no bothering with silly jetstar……

    • Is that you in the pic? xx

  • OP forgot to add under "all important T&C": ticket is only valid for 3 months travel

  • travel time period is wrong

  • By all means I would avoid Jetstar connection at Darwin. I remember it is not 1-2 hour connection on the way back . Besides, you will land at Darwin airport at dawn (ie. 2-3am or earlier) and you are stuck there for 4-5 hours. I believe you just need to sit/sleep at the gate until your flight. It is extremely unattractive flight schedule. Although good connection on its way out - so it's shame they cannot do the same way for both ways.

Hope other competitors, such as AirAsia / Tiger starts direct flight to/from Sydney to Asian gateway cities then make Jestar consider more convenient/direct flight rather than all inconvenient connection system (via Gold Coast/Cairns/Darwin).
