    Pretty pointless posting them at this price, especially with the Sony mdr1000x's at $399 https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/316902

    • It's not pointless as some might prefer the bose, but having said that i dont think the price is worthy of posting.

    • A lot of people say the noise cancellation is better on the Bose.

      • There are a few who say the contrary. Haven't tried the mdr but Bose's anc is excellent, sound quality however is bland.

        If priced similarly, I'd go for the mdrs due to the extra features and sound quality - those are my only regrets with the qc35s.

        • the only issue is with the sony, the build seems a bit bulkier and heavier.

      wow this price is amazing, thank you for sharing

    Any future deals on these will always look expensive compared to

    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/314301

    • The number of them reselling on ebay is hard to watch…

      Agree, i am still upset that i missed it

    • I just regret that I cancelled it~

  • Very hard to justify buying at this price now the mdr1000x has dropped under $400.

    • Very hard to justify buying at this price now the mdr1000x has dropped under $400.

      And the MDR1000X has a production flaw that causes them to crack which Sony in Australia will not fix under warranty.

  • That's a big -ve from me, $33.90 shipping to Nthn NSW

      That's a big -ve from me, $33.90 shipping to Nthn NSW

      How is that a legitimate neg? Is it the cheapest price at the moment? Yes.

      Does everyone live in Northern NSW? No.

      • -3

        It shouldn't be the cheapest price at the moment, it should be a "bargain" price.

        • It shouldn't be the cheapest price at the moment, it should be a "bargain" price.

          What's the difference? The QC35 area to popular and often sold at their full RRP. These are offered at a substantial discount to RRP. Who determines if this is a bargain price or not where there is no definition of what a margin price is.

          Using your logic most posts on OzBargain should be deleted especially the 5% off deals.

        • @Maverick-au: Completely agree, I get a tad tired of the "bargain police". We are adults, we can search on the site to see trends and Google outside to confirm if we like the price before buying. The OP went to the effort of saying they weren't the cheapest they had been. He/she gets a tick from me.

        • -1

          @Maverick-au:

          Often sold at RRP? i just counted back in the last 5 months of deals and these have been below the posted price 12 times, i didn't bother going any further. When something is posted that regularly there is no need to post something that "is the cheapest price at the moment". A bargain is generally considered something that is sold below the "usual" price and as I've just pointed out, this is above the "usual" price. Don't go coming back to me about RRP because most ozbargainers know better than to quote RRP on anything.

          I agree, most posts on ozbargain should be deleted, there are very good deals and then there's deals like this which people like you defend based on RRP, it's laughable.

        • -1

          @try2bhelpful:

          Totally contradicts your own point, you say you are an adult and you can use search the site(and google) to to see trends yet you say you like a post to show you the "usual" price?

        • -2

          @F-22:

          Often sold at RRP?

          Yes these are rarely discounted.

          i just counted back in the last 5 months of deals and these have been below the posted price 12 times, i didn't bother going any further.

          Some of those deals literally sold out in minutes and most of the rest were sold out within hours or days or had limited stock.

          A bargain is generally considered something that is sold below the "usual" price and as I've just pointed out, this is above the "usual" price.

          This is below the usual price of $499. The usual price is not limited time pricing that is available for short periods.

          Don't go coming back to me about RRP because most ozbargainers know better than to quote RRP on anything.

          Why? RRP is what these are sold for in most stores everyday.

        • @Maverick-au:

          I just proved to you that it isn't rare at all, type in qc35 in search and see all the deals for yourself. The only one i know of that sold out in "literally" minutes was the $250 deal, the rest were sufficient. Given how many times the deal is repeated you'd be mad not to wait for the next deal to come around at the same price(every 2 weeks based on the amount deals i found).

          I don't know why i'm bothering to try and save you money, feel free to buy RRP, the stores love suckers like you.

        • @F-22:

          I just proved to you that it isn't rare at all, type in qc35 in search and see all the deals for yourself.

          You proved nothing, deals for the headphones are rare and often limited in time or quantity and many are over $400 when on special. The eBay sales sell out quickly.

          I don't know why i'm bothering to try and save you money, feel free to buy RRP, the stores love suckers like you.

          I picked up a local pair a while ago for $330. It's suckers like you that can't accept that this is a good deal and it's the best priced TODAY if someone needs to buy a set.

        • @Maverick-au:

          When they come up cheaper in the next couple of weeks you can think of me.

          Yout picked them up for $330 yourself and you're still defending a deal that is $70 more, makes sense to me…

        • +1

          @F-22: I don't see how this contradicts my point. The OP has put a price up there an people can go back through Ozbargain and Google to see if they are happy with the price. Just because there are discounts in the past does not mean there will be in the future. People can then make a risk assessment.

          @F-22:

          When they come up cheaper in the next couple of weeks you can think of me.

          How do you know they will be cheaper?

          Yout picked them up for $330 yourself and you're still defending a deal that is $70 more, makes sense to me…

          Using your logic no deal on these headphones should be posted unless they are cheaper then the under $300 30 second eBay sale.

          These are currently the cheapest QC35's in Australia. If you need some now you can buy them, if you'd can wait that's a choice you have to make as there may or may not be any available cheaper in the future.

        • @Maverick-au:

          See doweyys comment below, not even 24 hrs and already a current example of them cheaper. You've just argued for a day to be proven wrong. Have a good day.

          P.S and they are aus stock likely with a tax invoice to claim trs.

          So what? $5.75 cheaper from a new ebay store that doesn't meet the requirements to post on OzBargain with a low feedback score.

          96.1% Positive feedback

          They may be Australian stock and they may or may not have a tax invoice.

          @Maverick-au:

          Read this comment. They're probably way more reliable than most Aus stores, eBay rep shouldn't mean anything. And yes, tax invoice comes with purchase.

        • @Maverick-au:

          It's still the cheapest price Today, sound familiar? Wow some people can't just admit when they're wrong. You're whipping a dead horse.

          This was the cheapest price on OzBargain when it was posted. I probably wouldn't buy from that ebay seller and it can't even be posted on OzBargain as it doesn't meet posting requirements.

        • @doweyy:

          Why are they more reliable given their ebay feedback indicates otherwise? Yes eBay reputation should mean everything, why do you think this can't be posted as a deal on OzBargain?

          I'd rather buy from sellers that are known to be reliable, not just on the say so of one person and eGlobal are known to be ok to deal with as are the other retailers that have been posted.

        • @Maverick-au:

          Because they have been in business since 1911, whereby e-Global has been in business since 2010, I wonder which one is more reputable. It can and has but if you didn't realise, it's a pretty average price so not worth posting. Would be good if you supported Aus businesses rather than send money off shore and make this country worse.

        • @Maverick-au:

          I know you wouldn't buy it because we've already established you like paying RRP.

          Before you were trying to tell me these deals are so "rare".

        • @doweyy:

          Where do you think the QC35 is made and where does the majority of the money go? Hint it's not to Australia. The various levels of government have screwed Australia and destroyed any local manufacturing by allowing just about everything to be manufactured overseas. I agree with what you're saying however and I prefer to buy locally where possible but ultimately nearly every dollar we spend ends up overseas.

        It's a valid neg considering it's also not the cheapest on the market currently.

        $394.25 Delivered Here OZ Stock with C5OZ

        • $394.25 Delivered Here OZ Stock with C5OZ

          It's the cheapest price on OzBargain at the moment.

      • Because it was listed at 19$ freight, since changed to 19$ freight for metro.

        $33.90 freight to northern NSW is an absolute rip-off.
