How long does a screwtop bottle of wine keep? I ask because with the amount I have stored I won't start on anything I buy today until this time next year. Some of the stuff I'm looking at is 2014 vintage.
Depends on the wine. I've got red wine under screwcap back to 2004 and they have been Ok when last tried. Wine under screwcap matures at about the same rate as a "perfect" cork and slower/more consistently than the average cork.
I've done a bit of research now and probably heat would be the problem more than time- I can't guarantee it would be kept air conditioned all summer let alone at the optimal 13'.
Certainly heat is a factor, but at say 18-25C range screwcaps will perform better than cork and the wine will mature slightly faster than at a lower temp. Mine sit at 12-16C annual range.

I've added the code and made a purchase (2 x cartons of beer for $61.95 each), however the discount didn't work. Rang DM to cancel the first order & tried again, same goods, same seller but this time using desktop website on my PC…same bloody problem, now the item is out of stock.
Wondering if I should contact eBay & see if they will manually apply the discount, seeing as the issue appears to lie with them.

Why is it so hard to buy from Dan Murphy's if you have a Qld address??
The items say "Postage: Doesn't post to Australia" and when you go to the details, it says "Excludes: Northern Territory, QLD Far North, QLD Regional, QLD South East, SA Regional, WA Regional, WA Remote, PO Box". In that section, you can change the postcode to a Sydney postcode, which then changes the postage to a $ amount and gives you the option of "FREE Click & Collect at officialdanmurphys". When you go to select a store, it will show Sydney stores as you chose a Sydney postcode, but you can change that back to a Qld postcode and it shows the nearby stores in Qld with stock. After selecting the Qld store and adding the item to your cart, you get an error "The address specified in your cart is in a location that doesn'ot (sic) meet the seller's postage requirements. You can change the delivery address in your cart and try adding this item again, or contact the seller to request an exemption." From there, you can add or edit an address, so you can add a NSW address, and then go back to the item, select the Qld store again, and finally it lets you add it to the cart.
My only concern is the NSW address I entered will not match my licence, so will Dan Murphy's actually let me collect it??
Edit: Also works for a Brisbane metro address, but nothing outside Brisbane (not even Ipswich). Annoying.

I have a similar problem in Regional WA, but not quite as annoying. It tells me "The seller does not post to Australia" on the item listing, directly above where it says "Item location: Australia. Posts to: Australia". I have to change my default eBay address to one in Perth, then it will let me click and collect from a regional WA store. Of course the default listing for click and collect stores are associated with the Perth postcode I put it, but that can be changed on the store selection screen and works the first time or me when I enter my real postcode.

The text says that ID is required and will be recorded upon collection.

Yes I found that out when I picked up my order.
I did not see that in any terms and conditions.
Not happy for Dan Murphy to have all my details (name, surname, address, mobile number, email address, drivers licence number) on file.
There is really no need for them to record that. It is also a liability for them to collect this information on their system in case they get hacked.
I managed to get my order without giving the number. The manager said that many people complain, but it is in the T&C so next time they will require the number.
