"Basically, if you live in VIC or NSW, you can ask these guys to come around and give you free, replacement CFL light bulbs for your house. There is no maximum amount you can replace, but you have to replace at least 3 bulbs.
Why do they do it? Because they can sell your reduction in emissions as carbon credits - but you get all the benefit of a cheaper electricity bill without having to pay for the bulbs!! Seems like win, win to me!
These guys are also Australian Government approved 'Greenhouse Friendly' - so they are kosher! :)"
That's pretty good. I remember when all the shopping centres had people giving away shower heads and lightbulbs, but I think too many people did the dodgy and got 20 lightbulbs etc for a single house.
