HD DVDs @ $9.95 (plus cheap postage of $1 if you're quick!)

A lot of HD-DVDs are $9.95 @ DStore due to this week's announcement by Toshiba. It's a good time for HD-DVD owners if they want to stock up on movies.
Combine it with $1 shipping (http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/3208) and you've got a pretty good deal considering HD-DVD were about $30-$50 last week!

Apparently LG will press on with HD DVD.
Rather than completely scrap its already- or near-complete combo player hardware, LG likely sees it as more logical to continue the manufacture and sales of its dual-format players until the end of its product lifecycle.

apparently, theyre selling them as upscaling dvd players now!

Unfortunately, dStore have changed all the vouchers so that you can only use them for orders over $40, and you can't use them together. So I guess if you'd already got the vouchers before, it's a bargain.
If you just signed up today and claimed the vouchers. Bad luck.
bevisaurus on 23/02/2008 - 02:03 ¶its more like… buying a extremely cheap betamax video for your betamax video player. so i dont think a negative vote was warranted.
