Move SSD to new SSD (one bay only and ideally need to do today). Help please :)

Hi,

I have a Windows 10 PC with 500GB SSD and I wish to switch it to a 240GB SSD which is already running Win 7.

So far:
Used Win 7 BackUp tool to backup to external USB drive. (120GB total).
Couldn't create Recovery Disc as it says their is no CD drive (even though it works - not found an actual fix via Google).
Put 240GB SSD into PC but it leaves an empty screen and I cannot find a way of booting to restore the recovery on the external drive.

I only have 1 bay so I cannot do a simple clone as I don't have a cable to connect the other SSD via USB.

Any suggestions please :) Doing my head in…. Thanks

    Use macrium reflect to make a image and bootable USB.

      Have tried alot of software and this was the only one that worked
