Mirrorless Camera Recommendations Under $800 AUD

Hey guys, I'm in the search for a mirrorless camera and lens somewhere in the $600-800 range.

Some preferences for the camera would be
1) Portability
2) Flip screen for selfies
3) Good video (4k and Slow Motion not necessary but preferred)
4) Fast Autofocus
5) Time lapse capability
6) Wi-Fi photo and video transferring

Don't need
1) Electronic Viewfinder
2) External Mic Input
3) Touch screen

I've looked at the Canon M6 and it seems like a good buy but I was wondering if the OzBargain community had superior recommendations. Thanks guys!

    For picture quality I would have recommended the Olympus EM-10 MKII but your requirement of 4K and a flip screen, I would suggest the Panasonic Lumix G7. The Panasonic and Olympus micro 3/4 format means their lenses are interchangeable.

    That means you could use this beauty Olympus 45mm F1.8. I got mine for $295 grey import from HK.

    You don't seem that interested in video, but if it's ever more than a passing interest, I think you'll like 4K video and the ability to take 4K stills from it. And capture once-in-a-lifetime events with it. If that's the case: Panasonic.

    If video is not really important to you, I'd go probably go straight to Canon land. I think they make a superior stills camera.

    1) Portability - below are SUPER portable (see 1b for not that portable)
    Canon M100
    Panasonic GX850
    Sony A5100

    1b) These are way bulkier than above, so become a lot "less" portable
    Canon M5
    Panasonic GX85
    Sony A6000/6300/6500
    Fuji all models
    Olympus all models

    2) Flip screen for selfies
    Canon M100
    Canon M6
    Canon M5 (flips down…for selfies)
    Panasonic GX850

    3) Good video (4k and Slow Motion not necessary but preferred)
    Panasonic GX850 does 4K
    Canon M100 does 1080p

    4) Fast Autofocus
    Canon and Sony have the fastest and best Autofocus

    5) Time lapse capability
    Pretty sure all do this

    6) Wi-Fi photo and video transferring
    All of them do this, however Canon M100, M5, M6 all do this AND add Bluetooth so it maintains the connection if/when Wifi drops out

    Don't need
    1) Electronic Viewfinder
    2) External Mic Input
    3) Touch screen
    Canon M100
    Panasonic GX850

    Both ditch the EVF thus making them tiny and super portable
    Both have no external Mic Input
    Both do have touch screen
