Good Overseas Websites for Cheap Shopping?

…seeing as the $AUD is soaring.
Preferably American websites with good reputation and service, rather than the cheapest, albeit dodgiest Asian companies. Mostly in the market for tech and consumer goods, games, dvd, etc.

An earlier topic suggests this wiki page at Whirlpool which I found is very useful. Just have to put a big WARNING next to it though — might cause excessive damage to your wallet :)

    • Thanks for the "master list". I should be very low on liquidity after I go on an online shopping frenzy. lol.

  • highly recommend DVD.co.uk as ive bought from there before and have pretty cheap games (xbox and pc etc) and UK
and Aussie have the same format (PAL) so check them out!
fairly cheap shipping cost to and they can ship large packages.

Ps. just bought an xbox 360 slim console and halo reach from them and saved a fair amount ay.

    • Do you know how much postage is for every game/DVD?
I couldn't find this info in the help section and I felt nervous about being required to input my CC details upon registration.

  • Buy Leathermans from the USA. They are so cheap over there compared to here.

  • ok, thnx guys

  • Make sure whereever you buy from has paypal and you use your credit card to pay via paypal. Honestly, you dont know where your sending your credit card details to. I used to buy a lot online overseas but my credit card has been charged fraudulently and the bank says people get hold of your details and just try and try and try to charge your card. My bank denied the payment thankfully but they tried to put it through over 20 times at about $600 a piece!
