Damn, awesome price for the iPhone 7 128gb.

Isn't it about the same on ebay seeing they aren't new?

        [As New] iPhone 7

I'm guessing the boss has to hand back his work phone???

        • :)

I think your neg is too harsh. Some items are clearance so I assume new. As well, I've seen plenty of refurbished items posted before on ozbargain.

      • -1

It's only a neg! Trump is US president now, he does harsher by the tweet.

    • +2

But they declare "as new", so why the neg?

  • +3

    Instore only limits it :)

  • why are places still reluctant to have iphone 7 plus on sale?!

    • I guess they still want to make a profit, I wonder what cost price is

  • +2

The online prices are retail for new products? lol
Can't really compare that to used/open box prices…

  • +1

Typical oz b crowd. Keep the + coming

  • Asus TX201LA-CQ003P Refurbished Laptop/Tablet i7, 11.6" 500GB looks tempting for a dual boot 2 in 1 - although this is quite old and comes with Windows 8.1 and Jellybean on it. Still good for $599 maybe?

Only 1 in stock, seriously? Could be already sold out.

Sad to see them go. I used to frequent their Westfield Store. I always had a good experience.

Wish them all the best online.

    • close of physical store shows the downfall of high housing prices and bad economics…
      \

    • i dont find their prices particularly competitive unless once in a while something is a real bargain. and i didnt like their store layout where everything is behind the counter and have to ask to see each item. maybe other people had the same thought as me and is a contributing factor to them going online only

    • Was talking to one of the guys yesterday i asked any reason why use moved to outside he told me westfields to expensive also told me something else wich damaged a lot of there products while inside sad to see them go but im sure it wont be the last :/

Damn would have loved to of picked up that Linksys EA9200! Too bad it's in store only :(

Hell of a price drop for such a high end model

  • What does VHA mean with the iPhones?

    • +1

VHA typically stands for 'Vodafone Hutchison Australia' (formed in Australia after the merger of Vodafone Australia and Hutchison 3).

It may mean that it is Vodafone branded stock.

    • VHA = Vodafone Hutchinson Australia
      Source: http://www.vodafone.com.au/about/company

It's likely stock that has Vodafone specific software. It should still work with other carriers if it is unlocked, but it may come with Vodafone branding when it boots up, and perhaps some preinstalled apps.

It might also mean software updates need to be approved by Vodafone (therefore some delays) before it gets pushed to these phones.

      • +2

That may be the case with Android, but iPhone software updates are always available to everyone at the same time, VHA network lock or not.

How is this any different to shopping for used items on Gumtree/eBay?

    • +2

Unlike Gumtree and eBay, these aren't scammers (and they are still a business with ACL obligations even after their storefront closes)

      • I've been buying/selling on both platforms for over a decade and have never come across a scammer.

    • Also - you get warranty purchasing from a business.

  • In store only?

  • +1

That is not really sale. Open box, does it still have warranty or warranty nearly gone?

  • +2

opened box….. is that international language for second hand?

  • +1

Lol was there yesterday there wasnt much stock when i went in yesterday :/
