No way i'd buy from that seller with that low feedback.

    • My OnePlus 5 that was ordered from BuyMobileAU (which actually has Amaysim on the invoice) was delivered into Sydney from Hong Kong in 6 days.

Two of those days it was sitting in customs in Sydney. Can't complain about that.

Just opened it now and the phone is in a shrink wrapped box that all looks brand new. All contents in good condition!

Hopefully their bad dealings are behind them. Have they always been owned by Amaysim?

Looks like they sell items they haven't yet got, and pass refurbished items off as new. Agree, wouldn't touch it. Not worth it if 16% of buyers are having problems.

      • Yeah the feedback is scary, seems they sell refurb items as new:

"PLEASE AVOID! Items are not NEW. They are refurbished and then shrink wrapped!!!"

Seems to be quite common on eBay now, especially for phones, and there is no way on eBay to complain about it. The seller gets past it by listing the item as "brand new" and then claiming to have "opened the box for inspection".

What annoys me the most is when people tag items as "brand new" when they are refurbished, and then put refurbished in the description or title. They do it so that their product shows up, even when people filter on "brand new".

  • FYI, note8 is going to be released tomorrow.

    • My note 7 is a flaming ripper so might wait for the 9

      • Hope it doesn't actually flame up.

Is it just me or have there been a lack of s7 deals since the s8 release? Seen more second hand bargains than anything else.
