worth noting that this has HDR - whirlpool thread here for new model hisense tvs - http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/archive/2608487
JB just dropped it's price to $998, not a bad price but still $46 more expensive. Could add an extra $4 and get yourself a chromecast.
JB Hi Fi can price match Harvey Norman. If you have the Entertainment Book, get the JB Hi Fi Egift Card at 5% off first before price matching at JB Hi Fi. :)
JB price matched Hardly Normals price for me, all I had to do was ask.
Do you think it would be much trouble for 1 person to carry this to a maxi taxi? I dont know if they pack them with a handle in the middle..
For this size of tv I would say that the box would be designed with two hand holes on either end of tv rather than carry handle. A shopping trolley would be advised to transport tv to taxi
Thanks 3252900sl, I'll organise a trolley.
I got one of these about 3 months ago and it's been great.
I can also say it's really very light as packed in the box.
Maybe take some string, rope or a couple of medium sized bungy
cords if you are moving the unit across a longish' distance.
I don't recall the box having a handle(s) but again, was pleased at how
light the unit is. Is reasonable well packed/packaged but I wouldn't push
your luck.
Pro tip: Don't over tighten the legs when attaching. I think it would be pretty
easy to strip the screw holes. The legs attachment is NOT very robust so don't
put the unit near where kids are running through or people are likely to imagine they
can rest against or lean on.
No problem carrying. I did it by myself. Perhaps a little awkward that is all.
no worries at all, its not that big… I easily loaded mine into the back of a kluger full of baby seats… the box is thin
Are these any good for playing PS4/PS4 pro on?
I'm curious about that too, the input lag would be great to know for gaming on Xbox or PS4 (some TVs have poor input lag when HDR gaming is enabled).
This is so tempting.
Is it 100hz?
this has gone back to non sale price of $1015 which seams pretty cheap!
looks like they are not gona be making the 50 model any more as i cant find anyone else selling it on static ice.
almost at previous gen prices already for these….tempted to replace my 43"
