I have a Woolworths rewards card but not coles one yet.
I don't have an amex either because I know that card requires money.
So does Coles Flybuys require any sort of payment or minimum criteria.

Loyalty cards typically don't have an upkeep cost. The only ones that I know of that charge you money, is only Dusk / Adairs.

IT will also cost you more if you are one of those idiots who buys junk simply to get more Fly Buy points. As with any loyalty card your shopping habits should not change.
