It does not allow alienware and gaming it seems.. worked fine on the XPS 15, even stacked the cash off on the adobe edition was 2599 now 2079.20

I have the xps 15" 16gb ram 512 ssd.
I really do love the machine, but am getting a bit fed up with the screen flickering and it not being able to handle opening 20~ chrome tabs + 2 word docs + excel at the same time. It lags, freezes, throttles and then shuts down.
My 10 yo Sony with 4gb ram handles it better and only has 500gb hdd.
I've contacted dell a number of times but after they've run 'remote diagnostics' they've said nothing is wrong. Customer service seems poor from what I've experienced. However when it's actually working I do really like it. Bezeless screen is gorgeous. Not as snappy as I'd like though.
So be mindful of this when purchasing
