Unfortunately one of the main competition for Baby Bunting here in Qld has gone into administration, which has left a lot of people with issues in relation to lay-buys, gift vouchers etc, have read online about some really sad situations that don't appear to be rectified in time for their baby's arrival :(

For bargain hunters, there are still 2 stores trading - Fortitude Valley and Aspley, with varying degrees of % off - starting at around 30%.
The deal from today was that if you spent $50 in store you got a stroller for free. Not a top quality one, but it will be handy for us when we travel interstate/overseas and don't care about it getting all banged up by baggage handlers!

I was at both locations today, Aspley had a lot of furniture, some great deals on floor stock of cots and change tables. Fortitude Valley was similar, but had a lot more of the "designer accessories" still there. Lots and lots of Bugaboo accessories, Gro Sleeping Bags, Baby Swings and other baby accessories. The Love to Dream range is all gone.

Stock is arriving in from the other stores that have closed over the weekend, but I guess that trading will only continue for another couple of weeks. Here's hoping that all of the fabulous staff that I have encountered in these locations find other roles soon.

      Good question! The range was quite limited at both stores, seemed to be mostly capsules and booster seats left. You could try your luck depending on what comes in from the other locations but I found that area to be pretty bare - I did note that prior to the announcement that their baby seat stock was very much limited, so I guess that they weren't being allowed to order any more!

    Hi OP,

    Could you please tell me if the Fortitude Valley store had much of the essentials, i.e. cots, bassinets, strollers, etc. and if they were heavily discounted.

    Since my post it has moved to cost price or below. Good savings to be had on floor stock cots and prams. They close as at Sunday 10th, so best to get in quickly. I've seen on Facebook more stock was brought in from other locations but I'd gather it would be limited quantity.

    Like any other clearance it'll be now luck of the draw with what's available and if it suits your needs (eg don't expect big ranges of things to be available like car seats - they do have some but only a small range)
