That "Quick Charging" in description is misleading as it doesn't support Qualcomm QC technology. Suggest amending it to say "Fast Charging" instead.

    • Ohh… Just ordered assuming that it will.

    • Nub question, whats the difference? (Nearly ordered but read comments first, potentially saving me from spending on a money saving bargain).

      • +1

Quick Charge technology is supported by phones that run on Qualcomm Snapdragon processors, it charges the phone at 9V (instead of normal 5V) so much faster charging.

  • Yeah the lack of QC2. 0 or 3.0 is a bit of a killer. Xiamo stuff is normally good, but search out blitzwolf stuff for QC. They have it on bamggood. There was a deal on yesterday for a QC3. 0 one for about the same money. Annoyingly that one was not on the official qualcom list either though, but their earlier model was. I'd I find the link I'll reply to myself…

      • I bought that when it had like 5 votes and was unsure
        Glad it blew up lol

        • Yep, I've got one of those on the way, as well as a 10csnt 3.1amp dumb charger from the recent gearbest post. Gonna have spares. I reckon this one is good if you drive a 24v truck or if your alternators fried…. :)

  • Thanks OP. Ordered one. Ticks a lot of boxes for me.

  • Would this be ok for a Viofo A119 dashcam? The stock one that came with the cam burnt out… -_-

    • +1

Yes, I use my A119 with this one. It's awesome, amazing build and even has a very elegant indicator white light when it's connected.

      • thanks mate! ordered!

  • +1

Not much cheaper than a roidmi which does a lot more, granted the more may not be required for some

  • So… I didn't realise it took so long for orders just to be packed… nevermind shipping times!
