Can you do a little better?

      This.

OP you have to do better, otherwise this is just advertising/spam.

"Can you do a little better?" - This. Hilarious

  • Does this work outside? Waterproof?

  • Box has had the batteries removed as well :(

  • +2

A bit expensive compared to the last deal from like over a week ago which was only $7.55 each.

  • +4

Got these cheaper through the recent deals.
I bought two and am happy with them.
They detect when its dark, which then activates the motion sensor. During the day they are completely inactive.
Beyond that, though, there is no customization or scheduling.
Its got a sticky bit on the back so you can stick it to the wall. You replace the batteries the same way you would a fire alarm.
The light is bright enough to illuminate the way to the dunny at night. So no more stubbed toes and angry 'dohs'. Also, this will help if you are scared of the dark, and are tempted to piss in the bed instead.

    • Eeewww.

This is probably the best review I've read about a Xiaomi product. Informative and to the point. Cheers.

  • i got the rechargeable ones for AUD11, very good. much better than from ikea or daisho.
just wish it is brighter, heard can adjust the lumen but havent got time to play around.

    • +1

Toggle switch inside to choose between 0.7 and 3.8 lumens.

      • There is no brightness switch for the battery model, only automatic or not

        • yeah we are talking about the rechargable model

        • @dragonindespair:

Oops sorry i meant the built in battery when i mentioned battery derp

        • @SevenSmurfs: yeah i just check didnt see any brightness toggle on the recharge model. hmm weird i will google more

      • inside? hmm ok will check later. i think the default is 0.7 . not so bright

  • this should be on every post about this light

    http://forum.yeelight.com/t/whats-the-different/2014/3

ok the battery model has 2 brightness setting
    the recharge model doesnt

    • Sorry for the confusion. I thought we're talking about the Mijia model (powered by 3AA). The rechargeable model model you're talking about is the Xiaomi Yeelight model (with built-in battery and built-in hook).

This picture shows the control switch on the top side of the light (off - auto - on).
