Camera SLR Sale 70% off + $25 Voucher

15

Hi all,

Some of the stuff here seems to be a very good deal, such as the canon 550D for only $770 (body only).
and Canon 7D body only for $1100+.

Even Canon 550D with lenses costs only $1100.

For comparison, in eBay Canon 550D price compete with Kiss X4, which are the same camera, only releases in different country. 550D is more expensive though.

With Australian warranty as well… some of those on eBay comes with Hong Kong warranty.

  • I can't tell, is this a good deal? I'm interested in a 550d for it's video capabilities as well as it being a great camera (from what I've read/heard). But what is the KISSx4 kit?

Is this everything I would need?

  • Would have been nice to have put UPTO in the description :( got my hopes up :P

not really a sale, pretty much the same prices as DWI, and you have to pay tax on top of these prices as well

corection: got confused with another store.

Still, Shoppingsquare's 'australian warranty' doesnt mean much except that its serviced in australia. they could get anyone here to do that.

Shipping is ridiculously high, $79 for the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FT2/TS2 Digital Camera Orange. If interested, better to get this at http://www.dwidigitalcameras.com.au/store/product.asp?idProd…, $353 including delivery with the $10 code, FR510, and you get it within 1-3 working days.

"With Australian warranty as well… some of those on eBay comes with Hong Kong warranty."

not manufacturer's warranty but SS's "seller" warranty

    • Shoppingsquare is a grey importer. ALL grey importers offer "Australian seller warranty"

      Yet another scam from Shoppingsquare

  • Where did you see the $1100 Canon 7D?
    Says $1323.95 on the site!

  • yeah 7d is just under $1400.

If these are grey imports (which I'm sure they are) then the 70% off is quite laughable and as already pointed out price is no better/worse then other grey importers such as DWI.
Seller warranty doesn't give me any assurance when the seller is SS

  • typical prices.

  • Which grey importer would you folk recommend getting a Canon 7D from?

    • try DD singapore

dwi is grey import but how come it still state 1 yr canon warranty where there is none…since canon doesnt have international warranty

    • +1

australia warranty not canon warranty. shoppingsquare is paying a third party that lives locally to fix it if there are problems.

      • yep. you do get what you pay for….

nothing wrong with grey imports, until you get a lemon, it's the luck of the draw… doesn't happen too often. Since I buy overseas too.

      • no, shoppingsquare is sending your cam back to HK for warranty, just like all the other grey importers
except the others truthfully name it grey import while shoppingsquare comes up with a new scam every month.

$99 postage to Sydney, are you kidding me? Clive Peters charged only $9.50, less than 1/10 of that when i order my Canon D1000. Looks like this's gonna get frenzy neg again.

  • I ordered a video camera from these guys 2 years ago. It never arrived and they took forever to refund me. Perhaps they're better now, but i wouldn't buy from them again.

  • Dear oh dear. $79 postage to Melbourne. No wonder the prices are cheap.
