wow that was fast to see a deal trumped!!!

    • +2

tbf, it reqiures the new account hack.

  • Can use code EB10OFF2017 for 10% off

    • can't combine EB points and coupons.

      • For people that don't want to stuff around making an account. Seems that you have to pay US$1.99 for a tracking number (can't unselect it). No deal.

        • you must be doing something wrong as it is not charging a tracking fee.

        • @altomic: because he selected PAYPAL option.

        • +2

          @Tragus:
Call me crazy but I'm a little weary to give out my credit card number to little known website in China..

  • +6

Absolutely fuming, already splurged on the other deal.
Might try price protection on the credit card….

    • +6

You may keep your Ozbargain membership.

    • How does price protection work with respect to first account EB points bonus? The list price would not match what you claim it costs. And it would only be for pennies.

Doesn't price protection only apply if the same retailer cuts its price, not when they're undercut by a competitor?

I get it, you were most likely being facetious.

  • Wiha screw driver set price war?

  • Do you need to select USD? as the AUD rate comes up as AUD$0.95

    • +1

select USD and purchase with 28degrees or citibank

      • Thanks,

        Using Citibank Plus.

Also, buying 2 sets allows you to use 29 EB Points!

        Plus Cashrewards 4.2% cashback.

        • cool. always (for these china sites) select USD for a better rate through your CC.

    • +1

Bankwest zero is the best (no int fee) CC now, 28 degrees not so much.

      Citibank great for debit.

      • Why's that?

I have both, but only use one.

        • +2

Platinum BW Zero comes with purchase/travel insurance for free, 28 degrees makes you pay for the purchase insurance and doesnt even have travel insurance.

        • @noise36:

          Ah, I see.

Seeing as I pay invoices before they raise, I don't pay for the insurance. Isn't BW Zero only 60 days or something? 28 is 6 months.

        • @Morien:

Well they (28) dont offer travel insurance, no option to even pay for it.

No idea about the price protection, could be better with 28 degrees.

        • @noise36:

          Ok. Good to know.

          Thanks, mate.

      • why is 28 degrees not so good? genuine question

        • As above.

        • Also, 28° MasterCard charges a payment handling fee of $0.95 each time you make a payment to your account using BPay. There is no fee for payments made by mail, direct debit or via the Online Service Centre.

    • +7

That's a whopping 28.42%, what are you on about?

    • +2

      Username doesn't check out.

Feel free to report it to the mods if you think it's a duplicate.

      • -5

        huh why

        • Because posting in here complaining is just laziness on your part.

    • +2

Clearly not in ozb spirit =P it's not the value, it's the deal.

Personally I'm not overly stressed about 20c…but extreme couponing is a thing!

      • -2

I bet you're one of those guys who keeps a tin of 5 cent coins and then once a year goes to the bank, finds out they are worth 10 dollars and claims it to be the best day of your life?

        • +4

Please hand in your Ozbargain membership.

        • +1

          RUOK?

        • Failing to hand in your OzBargain Membership will invoke a 28.42% daily interest on your membership fees.

        • Ahh you're the (profanity) blaming the guy who's dog was lost by the vet. It's obvious the kind of person you are now.

  • Thanks.. Got one

  • No issues with using genetic adapters?

    • +6

I'm using adapters that have been in my family for years.

      • Hahaha well played =P

  • How to use EB points?

    Edit: No worries.

  • Sorry, I need a bit of help. What am I doing wrong?
    - Signed up, got 50 EB points
    - Read redeeming EB points instructions
    - Clicked redeem EB points, no items appear on page that looks like it might list redeemable items
    - Tried finding the micro usb's through search but no redeem option anywhere
    - Add to cart, no EB points / redeem options anywhere
    - Verified email and got another 5 EB points but still no redeem options visible

    • go to cart —> proceed to checkout (enter EB points under address field)

    • +1

Are you willingly handing your Ozbargain membership in or do we have to remove it, just like that attitude?

    • +2

Apart from the minority who need this adapter, what's the point?

USB-C is standard in most new phones and a lot of us have a backlog of micro USB cables that can be made useful again with these, so I don't think minority is the right word.

Especially since most powerbanks still use micro USB in, so one of these and a cable saves the need to carry 2 cables

Fair enough, I guess the mob has spoken. There's just been a lot of these lately.

  • Nice, needed this.

  • +1

Good luck with this. I'm still waiting on mine from the last deal: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/326675

  • Any good for charging nintendo switch?

  • cheers. I just ordered them. Time to shop for a phone now with USB-C :)
