Are Samsung Galaxy S4 Batteries from Mobileciti/Kogan Legitimate or Fake?

I'm looking at getting a replacement battery for my s4. I have had a bad experience with buying a phone on ebay before with it being a fake. I know that a lot of sellers are selling fake phone batteries.
Has anyone had any experience with kogan/mobileciti batteries. Are they actually genuine as stated?

  • If they have genuine word on the listing , I'm 101% sure they are. Both are Australian company (kogan stock might be from overseas)

If later samsung store verify they are not, complain and they will give you refund and probably they let you keep the battery.

  • sellers are selling fake

Are these sellers selling counterfeit or replica batteries?

  • I need a new one also, have been looking on eBay.

I'm thinking about giving this after market one a try - 1089 sold - $6.80 shipped.

    • +1

I got a cheap one like this and it barely holds a charge.

  • I bought a "genuine" LG G4 battery from Dick Smith online (Kogan), I'm 90% sure it is fake. I get like 50% of the time I get from my original battery, even though that is old now. Phone also randomly turns off occasionally when using the kogan battery.

  • Just reporting in with a "Genuine" Samsung Galaxy S4 battery from Mobileciti.
I get much shorter battery life (1 day) than my 4 y.o. original battery. Phone turns off randomly at least once a month when using Mobileciti battery.

Time to check it with Samsung.

    • Yeah no doubt a fake.
