  Saw this at a preview last week… which turned out to also be a Q&A with Mr. Ben Elton in person which was a nice bonus :)

  My mini review (even though no-one asked)… it's overall a nice formulaic 'feel-good' story that should leave you feeling happy. Rebecca Breeds & Robert Sheehan were great in their lead roles and the whole thing was put together really well but I've gotta say there were a few cringe-worthy moments that could've been avoided or improved before release. Maybe intentional but I hope not. Not a masterpiece but then again it isn't trying to be. Typically 'Elton' tho :)

  But 18:30 - is it just me or is this like the most inconvenient time to go catch a movie on a weekday?

  Thanks OP, got x2 tix for the Ritz.
  Id arranged to see the hateful 8 with a mate at Randwick Ritz on a Monday. I got an email from the Ritz at 2pm the Saturday before advising that a special guest was presenting the film that night at 6pm. I called my Mrs and said the special guest must be Quinten Tarrantino as he was already in Sydney promoting the film. She said Tarrantino would never go the ritz and managed to dissuade me from going. On the Monday as I got my ticket I asked the girl at the box office who was the special guest on Saturday? She replied Quinten Tarrantino and Samuel L Jackson.
