Happy I didn't impulse buy these when they came out, still waiting for a decent game on this and the big VR revolution never happened. Its $225(before tax) in the US right now.
wow, what a difference in price. I played a friends and the quality is definately there but it is just bulky, uncomfortable for too long and your head gets a bit sweaty.
OH and most annoying was the amount of cables needed to use it… The new model has a single yet thinner cable.

There will likely be further discounts on these down the line. A revised PS VR model was released in Japan recently and will no doubt be replacing this model here eventually. Still a good deal if you want it now though.
Aren't they working on a version 2.0 of the PSVR?
No change to the screen or anything. Thinner cables, headphone socket changed location and breakout box allows HDR pass through.

It has one single thinner cable instead of the multiple cables on this version which makes you feel like a puppet on a string.

If you love, tech, gadgets and gaming it’s a no brainer. It is the first consumer friendly living room VR device and a barrel of fun and amazement. Had mine since launch.
It's a good deal, but still not as good as the Big W 20% off ebay deal, which came to $433.10 delivered.
Funny how these cost just as much as the PS4 console itself does.
