AmEx Statement Credits: Harvey Norman - Spend $400 Get $100

I am itching to upgrade from Blaze to Ionic, really want the new GPS in the thingy. But the price is steep and the smartwatch features aren't that smart according to the reviews…

Not sure if this is considered a bargain or not… I'll let the votes do the work.

    Why did you post then?

    • haha… a bit harsh on OP.

      • Summarise briefly why it is a bargain - why did you buy it or consider it worth sharing?

I am in the market for the same watch. So far it is the best deal from the price point of view.

It is the lowest discount so far, but apart from the Amex rebate, it is pretty much the official RRP $449. Most of the bargains here can have multiple discounts applied to a product (e.g. A+B discount + price match at a = $wow). Therefore, it maybe a bargain to some, but I was unsure if that qualifies a "bargain" here.

Oh well, I didn't put first post don't be harsh on the desc.

        • @msac: It's definitely a bargain and the best price so far.

        • @msac:

Just now, bought it for 438 at HN with AMEX cashback 338. Not a bad deal at all. Let me know if anyone needs a receipt for price match.

  • I am taking a jump, today. Been waiting for too long to come up AIA Vitality discount catalogue, not sure when it is going to be there. This deals looks alright.

  • price with amex credit seems to be the best available deal currently
it was $449 at rebel sport less 20% storewide discount recently, so just under $360. compared to that one, yes this is a bargain

  • Apple watch 3 & this , which would you consider?

    • Apple watch for iPhone for sure but Fitbit is the best fitness watch for Android, ionic providing some additional smart watch features

    • The battery life of the Apple watch is what killed it for me. I bought the Ionic yesterday and after one day's use the battery is at 90%.

    • I don't have an iPhone so it is a no-brainer on that front, but I really like many of the smart features on Apple Watch.

But as many said battery is good but compared to Fitbit it is poor, and sleep tracking is very important to me.

I hate having to tie into Fitbit's ecosystem tho. It is very limited compared to what you can do with the data on Apple Watch.
