This would be specific to one store.

    • Yup! Just chuck whatever store it is in the title. :)

I got a pair in black colour about a month ago for $10 clearance. Don't think they're really worth $10 each, and they have that transformer hiss when my tablet is fully charged (haven't tried with many other devices).

    • Thanks, I'm unable to find anything cheaper even from China on flea-bay. I'll take the punt, if no good Bunnings will take it back no worries. :)

It's not that they're "no good" per se. Useful for adding a couple of USB charging ports to a room without losing a power point or needing travel adapters for cheapie Chinese ones. Just a bit pricey for a basic no frills charger.

        • I agree, they are a bit pricey. Buying one for me and the folks.

Because electricity is not something you (profanity) around with cheap arsed appliances that probably barely meet standards, if at all and have already had recalls registered against the brand!

Um, this recall is for an oil column heater. And the risk factor is for hot oil, not electrical issues.

If your point is about recalls against the 'Click' brand generally, then just browsing the ACCC recall list shows many reputable companies with items on recall, including Mercedes Benz, Volvo, Nikon, BMW, Makita, Sunbeam, etc.

Do you suggest that because of a few recall notices against Mercedes Benz, for example, that every product they make is flawed and/or dangerous, and should be avoided?

To me, the fact that items are recalled thus is a good thing. It shows that issues in a particular item have been identified, and appropriate actions taken.

  • I had the 1AMP of these, and didnt last very long
