50

DxO have released the new version of their photo editing software and have reduced it to 99 Euro or $150.29 AUD if you pay with 28 Degrees Card, more by Paypal. Had a play and some of the new tools are awesome.

here is an announcement with some detail. http://www.imaging-resource.com/news/2017/10/25/dxo-announce…

I am getting off the Adobe subscription nightmare and this is one good option. Also bought Affinity which has an interface a little more photoshop like.

  • What about Luminar?

    • Yes, looks a good option at $84

  • Looks like an interesting option. I was hoping DxO would have an asset manager of some kind, but from a quick look at their product page it doesn't mention anything.

I am also getting off the Adobe subscription model. I have been using Affinity Photo for a while, and I like it as a PS replacement; just need to settle on an alternative asset manager now.

  • Seems like a major upgrade with other photo software vendors are merely evolving. I've used OnOne for a number of years but hate the fact that it's so slow.

  • Is Nik collection included with this version?
