    No Deal.
Even the DJI store is selling it for less https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/342338
You can get AU stock for under $1800

    • thanks for reply, I believe its a different product.

It's a very slightly different product - it's a different colour, and has the new reduced-noise props. Not worth the extra $200 over local stock of the normal IMO, since you can buy the quiet props separately.

Here's the Fly More package with the "normal" colour for $1800 at your local JB HiFi: https://www.jbhifi.com.au/drones-robotics/all-drones/dji/dji…

        • Personally I agree - Standard Fly More is a very good deal, we are not JB Hifi but we are local. There is high demand for the Platinum.

"Not worth the extra $200 over local stock of the normal IMO, since you can buy the quiet props separately."

Platinum has longer battery life/flying time too. Again as I said you may not think its worth more but this site is surely about getting the best deal on the posted product, not a similar but cheaper one.

I'm in the market for a Fly More Platinum package but this is still too expensive.

        • @gadgetguy:
Same boat. Not considering the normal one so all comments about the different product being cheaper is moot.

        • @tshow:

Agreed. I'd pay $1500 and would go grey from someone reputable like Amazon. This is too new to hit those prices yet though.

        • @gadgetguy: i suspect as supply / availability increases ( after Christmas) , wholesale suppliers cost will reduce. This will lead to retail prices reducing. Over time ( gray) pricing for the Platinum will reduce to pricing we now see for the Standard Fly More.

That's a Pro not a Platinum and is not the fly more package.

Not that I'm defending this deal but you should compare like with like.

I don't think its valid to downvote based on comparison with a different, cheaper product. If you have a cheaper source for the Platinum Fly More please post it - I want one!

its not the fly more package. and its a different version.

    thanks op. Bought 5.

Okay here's a cheaper source for the posted item:

    https://www.eglobaldigitalcameras.com.au/dji-mavic-pro-plati…

$1899, also grey import, inc economy delivery.

i won’t tell anyone I just bought a marvic pro combo for just $1333…

Oh , by the way, it is aus stock and comes with invoice which can be used for tax return.

For this price ? 1999? Seriously? Anyone would consider?

I thinks this post should be deleted since it is not a bargain.

    • +3

Don't know how many times we have to say this, this post is for a Platinum Fly more.

      • -2

Ok, if you are happy to pay that extra $666.

For me, it is not worth.

    • Hi @pzhon. Where? Do tell. It sounds too good to be true. Links?

        • Thanks. I had an Ozbargin alert set up months ago, but this bargain didn't come up. Thanks for sharing pzhon.

Say, how are you enjoying the Mavic Pro? Any advice?

        • @d123: I am still waiting for it. Should receive it today.

It is a drone definitely worth your money according to the reviews on YouTube.

However, too many restricted areas in Sydney. Luckily I m living in Melbourne. Lol…

For details you may download the app “can I fly there”.

Good luck to you for getting one.

        • @pzhon:
Make sure you buy some ND filters for the Mavic, as it doesn't have an adjustable aperture, and for smooth videos it is important to keep the shutter at about 1/60.

        • @d123: thanks for you suggestion bro.
