how do you get the price?

  • +3

If this is the Note4X it’s a massive bargain. Agree with others, title wrong

    • +2

      No it's the normal 4x, It's 5" instead of 5.5"

  • +2

I think this lightning deal is for the Redmi 4X, not the Note 4X (gold): https://www.lightinthebox.com/red-mi-4x-5-0-miui-4g-smartpho…

  • My last order with LITB on 11/11 still has not arrived yet. :(

    • Regular post, minimum 3 weeks delivery time.

    • :) due to recent big sale, some package might delayed. normally free shipping 3-5 weeks, express shipping 1-2 week. if your package not arrive in 2 month or DOA, just pm me to get priority support.

      • Sure will do. That's why I am still waiting….

      • Hmmmm… I went with express shipping to make sure it arrived before Christmas and received a shipping notice on the 23rd.

5 days later and the DHL tracking# still isn't working.

Does that mean that it's still sitting in your warehouse waiting to be dispatched?

        • do you mind pm me your order number? so i can better check order status

  • GOOD CHOICE!

I bought this phone from Shopmonk about 2 months ago. It is fantastic for the price and just the right size. The camera is OK and does a decent job for photos and general filming (except at the Midnight Oil concert the other day- it didn't cope with the loudness and the sound was really poor). The battery life is insanely good.

    • 4X or Note 4X?

      • +1

4X (not the note). I thought the note was a bit too big to fit in my jeans pocket.

  • Great phone.. Another great phone in low/mid range is this one: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/328865. Bought it in this deal and happily enjoying ever since!

    • Can you confirm it supports sd cards up to 256GB? This is what's stated in gsmarena, but the specs in the post says up to 128GB. If it's 256GB, I would definitely get one.

      • I haven't used an SD card yet so won't be able to comment at the moment but I will try to see what it says on the box.

        • I checked that my model number is XT1685. The box or info booklet don't say anything about expandable memory limit though but it's mentioned as 256GB for this model on all websites.

        • @virhlpool:
Thanks for checking. If you check shopmonk or qd_au ebay store, they both state it supports cards up to 128GB, so it's pretty confusing.

  • Bought this phone a few months ago, really like it now, better than average camera even. Only thing i might mention is there is no removable battery as far as i can tell so once it goes really flat, i guess that's it?

    • +2

Plugged it in and charge it.

      • im talking about when it starts to hold little charge, obviously

        • Just like any other phone without a removable battery. I'm sure you can take it apart and replace the battery.

        • @skazclaw: can you? im not being a troll i legitimately dont know as ive never owned a phone like this before so no idea how difficult or possible it is to do that, and how one would ?

        • +1

          @Iggemo:

oh, no worries man :) Yeah you can do it with a little technical knowledge: https://tinyurl.com/yap2omjy

        • +1

          @Iggemo:
          easy as google it

        • One in our house lasted more than a year without noticeable battery degrade.
if it holds another year, the new ones are really worth getting.

  • Wow

Everything I hear of this phone is great. Tempted to pull the trigger many times. But I would really prefer NFC and at least 64 gb. 32 not enough to install many apps for me

  • +1

I got this same model from GB. The phone is everything you can hope for the price. It benchmarks faster than my old Nexus 4, but no NFC. International version, works out of the box, updates to 7.1 and miui 9. Interface is easy to use. The battery is roughly 3-4x better than my one year old Nexus 5x. The build quality is good, not flimsy but not luxurious either. Connects to my car BT no issues each time. I paid priority line delivery and insurance to GB, around $7-8 extra, received it in 9 business days with full and detailed tracking online. No idea how the LITB is with shipping.

  • Does this have band 28? I seems it doesnt.

    • +1

      No.

  • People please note… this is not the legendary "Note 4X".
This is the smaller version 5" with smaller processor etc..

    • I've checked YouTube. Some YouTubers actually prefer this 4x OVER note 4x due to 5" form factor and camera quality. If you're not into gaming much, this phone is great.

  • Price not showing.

    • Usually when the deal is over, you report it and the mods will mark it as expired. This is not a valid use of a neg

      • Didn't realize it was because deal was over. I've been checking over an hour. Apologies!

BTW, if it was a lightning deal, wouldn't you see how much time is remaining - hh:mm:ss so you could mark the expiry time accordingly?

        • Valid point but Lightinthebox has been doing this practice for as far as I can remember. They change the price without any notices.

What about the warranty. If something goes wrong, what happens next?

  • Back at this price :)

  • +1

Just in case someone comes looking

    25/11 - paid and confirmed
7/12 - email to say item shipped
did tracking today to see it's made it to sorting (first tracking event since pre-advised)

    • +1

      Received today 11/1

  • Just to give a heads up, remind 4X DOES NOT SUPPORT 5GHz Wifi BAND!
