I thought "Dendy" means cinemas in Dandenong (VIC) :(

  • pity they excluded victoria ….. I actually go to Dendy Cinemas and didn't realise they have a club …. for me it would be the free kid ticket for my son.

  • Almost signed up for the club over the weekend at full cost - so glad I waited!

  • Its a shame Newtown is my closest cinema, I'm not even anywhere near there….

Also appears to be free 1 year renewal!

Lol 1 year free renewal every time you click it!

I'm assuming if everyone one does a few they might overlook it but someone's going to be getting a few centuries worth and they'll put their foot down. 😂

      • Renewed up until 6/12/69. Just keep tapping that renew button 😂

        • Do you get one free ticket with every renewal?

        • @Love a bargain:

I didn't get any free tickets with any renewals.

Still, Dendy are my closest cinemas and at $12.50 a ticket also the cheapest within a close distance to home so being a member till I turn 100yrs old will likely keep me as one of their patrons for some time to come.

        • @Mugsy:

Wonder if it's possible to change from adult membership to senior membership before membership has expired (thinking whether I should just renew it till I turn, say, 60 or 65 instead of, say, 100)

        • @Love a bargain:

          Good point there.

There is a fine print somewhere on the website that read that if you wanted to change your membership between Adult, Senior or Student, you'll need to go to the box office. (EDIT: it's on the page the OP linked above: "If you are changing membership categories, you will need to do this at the box office.")

If anything, if you don't need to do this for a few decades, the staff that will process this for you may not be born as yet and will likely assume it was a special lifetime membership that you signed up to… assuming Dendy is still around then.

        • @Mugsy:

I only managed to renew it for 2 years. Clicked the renew button twice before the page refreshed and the renew button is not showing anymore after the page has refreshed.

        • @Love a bargain:

          They must have caught on.
