For those in states without Bing Lee stores, it looks like delivery is flat-rate $6. I tried postcodes in Brisbane, Darwin and Broome, all were $6.

    • Whoa, good price. Are these the same model? https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Sennheiser-HD201-HD-201-Closed-D…

      • Same model, but overpriced. Officeworks used to sell them for about $30. But now that almost nobody has stock, the price is going up due to scarcity.

Amazon US have the HD206 (same style as the HD201) for US$32, I don't know if their audio performance is the same:

        • Thanks mate, bought 3 for all my TV's so I don't get disturbed when the gf is cleaning using the vacuum cleaner.

    • i dont think its just states without binglee. since their stores are out in the wild they charge $6 for shipping of every order.

  • Must be a stock run-out? Officeworks don't list them any more, and staticice shows only one listing ($37) Australia-wide.

  • Thanks Trent :)

  • Bog standard audio quality iirc

    • Perfectly acceptable for $16. Their best feature is the extra-long cable attached. Perfect for plugging into a TV and being able to sit back a decent distance.

      • I've done that before!

Thanks, OP. Bought two for the kids to take to school next year.

I'm becoming that person but… how do you feel about kids wearing headphones while crossing traffic? That is assuming your kids are crossing the road.

When I see kids wear earphones and look at smart phones while crossing the road, I get worried.

They use them at school for educational purposes - the headphones stay in their tubs in the classroom. My kids don't have mobile phones and won't until they get after-school jobs, and even that is a few years off!

Average quality headphones, but the best you'll get for that price. (be wary of the cord, it splits very easily)

  • Anyone ordering for delivery to Melbourne?
I'll be happy to pay $17 or $18 for it :)

    • 333… happy to split the postage with you if you are ordering.

      • I'd like to, but it's out of stock now :(

Not bad for the money but the ear pad outer is flaking off after about 2 years of use.

    • I have iPhone version of this brand that cost $25 when on special, I use on my PC, also flaking after 2-3 years of daily use. 2 years after it started flaking I'm still using it as the cord is still in great condition.

  • How are wireless headphones compared to wired? Looking at Philips SHC8800.

  • Good headphones for the price, it has long wire not suitable for traveling in my opinion other than that it is great and build quality is excellent.

  • Out of stock now.

  • As of 5pm today, I called up a few places and was told there was stock in some Sydney stores
I bought the last two at rhodes and someone else had reserved 2 there

I heard there was 11 at Kogarah, a few at Carlingford and Moore park. So may still be worthwhile checking in store

Also just to brag, i bought my first pair about 7+ years ago, and still going strong, leather material as all peeled off, and wiring has split in two places with copper exposed but patched with electrical tape. Also have 4 backups HD201s

  • Rockdale had 11 when I picked mine up. Don't expect 'Sennheiser' build or sound quality when you buy this. The most cheapest plastic and build I have seen on a '$50' headphone. The $20 price should be the normal RRP price.
